This is awesome.

http://www.theforce.net/swtc/index.html

My plan is this. I'm going to print a copy of this thing and slip it under my mattress. On the eve of March 31, I will drink a lot of coffee. When I go to bed around midnight, I will whip this out and proceed to read it (discreetly) around 3 o'clock in the morning, whereby waking my fiancee. She will of course hear this and start laughing really loud. I will continue to read a loud until I am shoved repeatedly, probably with some force, whereby I will pretend to stagger awake.

I will of course ask why she "woke" me.

She will of course lie. I'll call her out in the morning and proclaim April Fools.

Must execute.

Yeah. If I keep gorging on junk numbers like this, my pocket protector is going to be big enough to fit a small Volvo within a couple months. :(

Btw, I'm putting in a preliminary vote for this picture as the "Kobe Approves" placard:

By the way can someone create an Avatar for me out of this picture please? I would be greatly appreciated for I have no clue how to do it. This picture is just to great to forget about.

Also this does not look like a disapproval face. It looks more like an eye **** face.

Wow nice read, needs its own thread, ppl hard read ot

I say that cause I'm probably the only poster who refuses to accept tanking as the only option.

Let's all hear it for Jeremy Lin, one of the few productive Knicks, getting injured for the rest of the season and hope he has a full recovery next year.

In the meantime, let's hope Amare and Carmelo both get healthy as soon as possible.

You guys might remember me asking for housing advice earlier in this thread. Any opinions on the neighborhood close to Montrose and Colquitt? Its 2 blocks east of Univ of St. Thomas, does it get too loud on weekends? Frequent break-ins etc..?

I used to live maybe 3 streets away from there. Other than the Berry Hill and 59 it's reasonably quiet. As far as crime, I'd recommend not leaving anything valuable looking laying around in your car, but that's about all I ran into.

Yeah I did look at the crime maps and it looked fine but the house I checked out kind of had some graffiti signs on walls that were whitewashed over, so it kind of stood out for me. The landlady tells me that its the children from the nearby music school but just wanted to be sure.

That's kind of a transitional area right now. You have a lot of residents who have been there for a long tiem and then you have a lot of people coming in, knocking the old houses down and building new, multi-level homes (you'll see a lot of 4-floor houses in the area).

Crime is not a big problem in that area, but you should be aware of your surroundings. Like moofs said - don't leave valuables in your car.

Also - that area has a lot of pedestrian-accessible amenities that are kind of uncommon in a sprawling city like Houston where most expect to drive everywhere. While you are walking around be very mindful of traffic because you'll be dealing with people driving around there who are not familiar with the area and not used to pedestrians. I've known too many who have gotten hurt in accidents in that area because of inattentive drivers.
