Should be interesting to see how Jeremy Lin does next season, I know he will have all the eyes on him from knicks fans and there management. I don't think he will be anything less than decent as a starter. He has some skills and is young so he can improve upon his weaknesses. Obviously he played well for the most part on a huge stage in NY (although I would have liked to see how well he would have played in the Playoffs against the heat, a team he struggled with during the season). Anyway i'm not sure how Rockets fans feel about this move (probably as confused as most other fans/media as his resume is very short) so it's a wait and see.

Knicks fan.
Lin is a starting caliber pg who needs experience.

Unfortunately Lin fans are insufferable.

Never said I would not cheer for him. I wish him the best since he is wearing a Rocket uni and sure Max and everybody do not want him to fail

Just let let his second be better.

I will welcome lin but im not sold on him as our pg of the future. Hell im not convinced he is even a pg at all. 5 turnover per 36 minutes?

I love his story and his work ethic and he is an intelligent guy so we'll see....

Rockets fans will rally around our guys.

But for the next hour, he's not ours, so...

Knicks fan here, was hoping we would match but I am excited to see what Lin is in a main role. Only downside for you guys is the bandwagon fans.

If Lin plays well off the ball he will do well here, but he looked to be kinda ball dominant to me.

We have so many playmakers one player won't dominant the ball and McHale has and will bench anyone.(see Kevin Martin).

Should see White, Parsons, Lamb, Motie, Lin, maybe Machado all get quite a few number of possessions initiating the play.

Pg are supposed to be ball dominant so i dont mind. But lin has to cut down on those turnover and do a better job of playmaking if hes going to have the ball in his hand that often.

I hope he shored up on that shakey ball handling of his during the summer. He can penetrate with the best of them but he also has to protect the rock better.

Yea but when a team has several ball handlers/playmakers it gets messy when one cannot playoff ball.

Last year Lowry, Dragic, Parsons were primary handlers and played together seamlessly.
We now have quite a few more playmakers.

imo Westbrook/Harden/Durant on the floor at the same time gets messy cause Westbrook is too ball dominant

I want their biggest wins to come against the Knicks. Hopefully nobody on the rockets misses a shot when they play us and Lin looks like the second coming of Stockton.

Why don't you both just change your sigs and become a Rockets fan, there's nothing wrong with selling out and changing teams who has your favorite player. I happen to like the Rockets, I'm just a bigger Knicks fan, but I wouldn't sell out my favorite team and still pretend to be a fan on the Knicks Realgm board.

That being said, I wish the Rockets success this upcoming year and beyond and while I'm not happy about the Lin situation, I hope that Lin also has success in Houston. The Knicks/Rockets game will be priceless from this point forward....guarantee major network exposure!

Why would I become a rockets fan ? I've been a Knicks fan all my life and I always will be. That doesn't mean I can't point out how terrible our front office is.

Why would you want the Rockets biggest wins to be against the Knicks, if the Knicks are your #1 team.....sorry, it doesn't add up! You're right about our FO decision making over the years being suspect (for lack of a better word) but I still cheer for the Knicks, not Dolan.

Please take the "Knicks fan allegiances" arguments to your own board.

Lamb.. Scorer, shooter
Motie... Post scorer
