If Orlando wins the Draft lottery...would you trade Parsons, TJones and TRob for Nerlens Noel?

we finally get pass phase 1 (which is get to the playoff)
we are not going back to phase 0 again
we need to move to phase 2 which is advance to the 2nd round
we gave up Jeremy Lamb, Toronto's pick, and some other picks for Harden because we want to get to phase 1
noway we are moving backward for a lesser player in Noel
potential wise he can be great
but he can also turn into another Thabeet

Apparently Cody Zeller is the fastest player over 6'9" in the past 10 years. He is a leaper too.

given their draft history, i think these are the most likely players morey takes a look at. upperclassmen that grade well on analytic methods ive seen so far.

Roberson and Muscala would be a little bit of reaches.
Bullock and Snell have potential as 3 and D guys. Snell more likely to still be on the board.
Wolters reminds me a lot of Jeremy Lin.
Its looking more and more like Withey will be there. Another Kansas guy for Morey?

is a great trade for us ...

im sure the rockets say yes and orlando say hell no

parson is great for a team like the rockets because of his cheap nba salary you have a guy who you know is good enough to be a starter for cheap it gives you flexibility to make moves or sign players but he is not good for a team like the magic thats not what they need they need young players with huge potential like noel .

here is my fantasy draft trade idea
this is what i would do if i was the rockets gm not sure if is posible with all the union rules
rockets agree with the bobcats in a sign a trade with the bobcats
bobcats get a) asik,lin,thomas robinson and a future 1st round pick or b) bobcats get parsons , asik , lin
rockets get iguadala or josh smith and the 4 pick and have enough money to sign another star
i think is a good trade for both team free agents dont want to sign with the bobcats and they havent had luck with high picks time to try something different and the rockets get a star and a top 5 pick -iguadala/harden/howard-

nba draft is fun you get all this dream trades in your head , all the players look good on paper and at the end very few times works out well

it's interesting how many people say Trob is gonna be a bust, which might or might not be true. However, at least he led his team to the NCAA championship game. The expected top picks in this year in Noel or Shabazz didn't do much at all...so even the top picks in the NBA draft might not do better than Trob at this point.

no kidding...that is why it shouldn't be hard to get a late 2013 or 2014 1st/2nd round pick by trading trob if we decide too.

Thomas Robinson was the best player/most explosive player on those Kansas team... But Tayshawn Taylor and Withey lead that team especially in the tourney. TRob got out played by all the other PF, Sully, TJones, Robbie Hummel.

Hell I thought he was gonna be a bust because he and Sully were listed at the same height but as soon as Trob was matchup up against Sullinger you saw Sullinger was much bigger, much strong and just better, I thought TRob would destroy him with his athleticism, but that never happened. Instead it was Withey that beat up on Sullinger.




btw Shabazz is looking like a bust to me, Burke should go higher than him.... Then again I thought Drummond was gonna be a bust, and I think I even perffered Leonard.

the point is that any of these players in this coming draft could be no better than trob....i just hear some of boards saying trob will be hard to trade and even my friends say the same thing....i dont think it will be hard to move him at all if we need to....the hard guy to move is white.

That doesn't scream bust to me, especially not at #3 pick.

Then again, neither does Sam Bowie - perfectly serviceable big, but picked in front of several far superior players.

I don't know anything about this draft. I've heard it's one of the weakest in a long time because there's no superstar talent...but is there a lot of role player talent? Normally I try to scout up on the draft 1-2 months before, but we don't have the 14th pick this year.

That Dell Curry blood line though....take Seth, idc where he's projected!

But seriously, our biggest need is an ACTUAL big man that can anchor a defense off the bench when Asik goes to the bench. A defensive wing would be cool too (that could ideally shoot..)
