Probably not, Harrell has played ok as a center and if a Dmo deal gets done he can play center too. Rockets don't have much to trade anyways

Oh ok. Only saw the game where you guys whooped us. If you guys do need one, what do you think of KJ Harrell for KOQ?

Definitely not KJ. He's looking really good in the preseason and MDA has made it clear he will be in the rotation

I would not want to give up any of those guys due to the fact that they may be better fits.

As far as Kyle O'Quinn goes - why would you want to trade him? He seems like very good insurance behind Noah.

We definitely need the insurance. May be the most inexplicably signing of FA.

With KP and Melo able to move up a position, plus Willie and Plumsborough, we should be ok. KOQ is a decent player on a less than MLE contract but we have other weaknesses we need to address.

Anyone else going to try to watch tonight's preseason game against the Grizzlies?

Looks like Capela, Bev & Prigioni are out for Houston, and Parsons & Allen are out for Memphis.

I'm assuming the starting lineup will be:

Harden
KJ
Ariza
Anderson
Nene

Probably tune in to some of it while watching the Houston/Tulsa game and the Dodgers/Cubs.

Why is Capela not playing?

Rockets shooting like they have jet lag or something...

And Capela is playing. I was wrong about that.

Capela is playing well close to the basket. Very encouraging to see that.

And Dekker is looking smooth out there! He's got all of the energy on offense!

Don't tell anyone else in the NBA this...but James Harden is playing some decent defense so far.

Of course, most people would believe that Bigfoot was at the game before that...

Our elder statesman, Nene, is looking rather spry out there.

This is the best I've seen him look in a while. He seems reinvigorated.

Dekker is playing so smooth out there on the floor tonight!

No way that he is not a big part of the rotation this season.

edit - and then he has the behind the back dunk!

I've got to find video of that dunk after the game! Great pass by Gordon to find Dekker.

The Rockets bench has been impressive tonight.

Now Harrell & Wiltjer are playing for spots on the roster!

Tonight has been a fantastic game to watch if you wanted to see some extended minutes from the guys on the bench.

Now Wiltjer is stepping up big-time!

What is the expectation for Harrell? Could he outplay Capela to become the starter? MDA didnt sound too pleased with Capela so far

Harrell is looking to play his way into the regular rotation. Capela (who was not completely healthy this game) seems pretty set as starting center, and if not him then Nene is next in line.

Harrell is going to see most of his opportunities coming with backing up Anderson, or playing the big in small ball lineups.

In the two games I've seen harden has looked as bad as he's always had.

Anyways James needs to tame those TOs.

He's way too small to play center full time. If dmo is not resigned he could be the first pf of the bench though.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming
