In college, I used to play with a guy that would launch tons of half court shots on the fast break.
Jackass actually made a LOT of them.

I wonder what Scott Brooks and Durant had to say about that shot.
Russell Westbrook may not be the first or the last idiot savant in the NBA, but he is by far and away the worst dressed.

TRob: 20 minutes, 11 points, 7 rebounds, 5/9 shooting, 0 assists, 1 steal, 0 blocks, 4 turnovers
Congrats to PPat on a good game but TRob wasn't half bad tonight either off the bench.

Hah
Exactly. at 33, 21 and 20, the Lakers, the Heat and the Bucks had at least 2 hall of famers. We aren't talking about the Bernard Kings of the Hall of Fame either. These were legitimate super teams of their era. Yao left the streak at game 12 with a stress fracture on the season. TMac was never right to begin with. Our third all-star was the Rick Adelman offense.
And we did it in a stacked Western Conference. The Rockets won 14 in a row and they were still in 7th place in the standings. Comparatively speaking, the Heat are having a much easier time.
I tried to watch every frigging game of that winning streak, including Skips dance of shame on Vujacic's head towards the end of the Laker game. And then for a few days, we were on top of the western conference. That was a good time.

IIRC, McGrady actually played in 21 of those 22 games, only missing the first one against the Warriors. I think he averaged 22/5/6 in that stretch, and a bit more PPG (~25) when Yao went down after that Bulls game.
. That was definitely a fun stretch. I still remember Alston cooking the Lakers, TMac's 41 against the Hornets, Yao was killing before he got injured, the Novak game winner against the Kings...Mutombo blocking every shot. Scolandry finishing strong around the basket. We were actually FIRST in the western conference after Game 22, yet we ultimately knew without Yao that we didn't have much a shot at advancing (though I still swear, I actually thought we'd have had a legitimate shot if Alston was healthy in that series).
Looking at the Heat's schedule, they have a legitimate shot to reach 30 wins...but these streaks can sometimes stop at the most random games. That'd be funny if Boston was the one to break their streak at 22 though...

That was the year where he went with the whole 'it's on me' thing with Scream A Smith in the summer, then proceeded to train to add mass. Too much too quickly latter, he got bigger, especially in the core, but he managed to hurt a knee early on in the season, as well as the shoulder. I do recall that it wasn't the same side, but I can't remember which side the hurt joints respectively were.
I wanted TMac to get past the first round so bad. He had some of the worst luck.
