Re: State of the Roster
Paul Millsap for the short haul would be an incredible fit. Imagine someone that can stretch, post-up, rebound and give you some physical D. 2 big attributes we're missing from both Patterson & Morris.

Rather have a go at Randolph

Z-Bo would be intriguing...I dunno though, Millsap gives you decent rebounding, efficient scoring, and good defense. He's a true two-way player. It'd be awesome to have either guy on this team, but it is fun watching the young guys try to figure it out.

be stupid to give up assets for a player that is going to be a free agent the following year

How reliable is Chad Ford I forget?
Plz anyone but Parsons!... Doesn't really make sense unless we get Gay & Randolph
Chris (TX)
Is Houston going to be active in the trade market as the deadline nears?
Chad Ford (1:17 PM)
Hearing yes in a major way. They like their backcourt and feel that they are set at the five. Upgrading the 4 looks like the biggest priority ... but could also look to upgrade at the 3 (though Chandler Parsons is having a good season). Rockets still have a number of young assets to offer.

Iirc, Chad Ford likes making things up and/or is usually wrong or a misdirectional mouthpiece or something.
Morey 2020.

I think the only person that will be more devastated than me if we trade parsons is u zubbs
If we do I will be very upset with management:(:(...seems like Lin parsons and harden are really good friends and enjoy playing together I don't think they will break that up unless it is for lma or some player like that

I highly doubt Parsons is on the table given the value contract he's locked up in, unless it's for a true bona fide superstar or something.

Re: State of the Roster
Wouldn't mind ZBO, but he'd cost a lot. And we'd need a 2-way player. Millsap is cheaper and less risky (able to retain cap space this summer for major FA). We probably wouldn't have to give up too much either, since Utah has a pretty stacked front-court.

Re: State of the Roster
Ranking our players in terms of most likely traded, reverse order:
Harden, untouchable
Asik
White... smh
Delfino, has so much more value to us than he would for any other team
Parsons
Lin, depends not sure how high Les is still on him.
Smith
Motie/Jones
Beverley, his contract gives me reason to believe he will be here for a while
Rest of the roster is expendable.

Re: State of the Roster
Lolz I mean White LBJ would be higher if it was up to me, but I get the feeling he is the one guy on the team every other team would want from the Rockets. He would be 1b If I was in charge.
He is beast and he is cheap.
White isn't going anywhere cause he is just a mess I doubt anyone gives up much for him.

I didn't realize you guys liked Delfino so much. He was great in his first year with the Raptors. Second year...not so much.
