I watched Noel in summer league. He had no post up and is still very raw even while face up.

We want cheap young players and picks. We don't want Lin to take young guys minutes and force MCW to play the 2 and hamper his pg development. Stop acting like Lin and his bloated salary is something philly should actually covet.

Winning games, what a crazy idea!

Tanking is where it's at, ask the Spurs.

Good luck holding your free agents down the line after you've established a full on loser culture on the franchise.

Philly owes us for Moses Malone

I actually see them possibly squeaking into the playoffs this season, and if not this season then definitely the following season.

Same, I just didn't want to quote that without taking another look first.

What do you mean by this?
* Since 1985, Jeremy Lin became one of 15 players to have scored at least 20 points, seven assists and a steal for six games in a row, including 136 points in 5 starts beating out Iverson, Jordan and O'Neal :D

Majority of fans see Spurs as the model team and system. In 20 years, Spurs only tanked 1 time when David Robinson was injured. Most people would say that Spurs never tank, but the fans of tankers will only see that 1 year where Spurs did in fact tank.

It's about confirmation bias.

But if they didn't tank how many of those 5 championships would you wager they would have won?

I'm not sure if Spurs really tried to tank. Robinson was that instrumental to the Spurs who didn't really have anybody else to help at the time:
