Thanks for the input guys....I actually was thinking about the Bahamas and staying at Atlantis (stayed there before and it was my favorite trip. I loved the shark dive Stuarts cove had)...may do that next year after we save up a bunch of money

Well I'm looking all over doesn't matter where it is. I'm gonna check out rockport later for sure, thanks for the idea.

It doesn't matter where it is at all. Us 4 can have fun anywhere. I'm kinda being selfish and looking places that at least have half decent diving even though I'm the only one that dives.

I know someone who does a lot of fishing & diving at Puerto Vallarta on the west coast of Mexico. He talks about retiring there someday.

Where in the hell is this damn global warming thing Al Gore talks about all the time. It's below freezing in the middle of the day.

Richmond might just be the worst road to drive on in the civilized world. There's a pot hole that looks like a blast crater right infront of the post office past Mandell.

I know that exact gorge (don't belittle it by calling it a pothole) you are talking about.

The only reason why I will not say that Richmond is like a street that you'd find in the Third World is because I don't want to insult those in the Third World. That street is a freaking disaster from Montrose to well past Beltway 8. Let it rain a bit and you'll have "Lake Richmond" between 610 and Gessner.

Greenbriar between University and Holcombe is really pathetic as well.

Oh passed through that a few times as well. Atleast they repaired University Blvd recently. Its kind of strange that these affluent neighborhoods have some terrible roads and places like the 3rd ward have pretty decent roads.

I have had the hiccups for 2 days

I've tried all the usual tricks, but does anyone have some real advice?

An Olympic shout-out for Jeremy Lin!

Post#877 » by Mr. E » Sat Feb 8, 2014 3:03 am

During the Parade of Nations, the eardrum-splitting NBC announcers did mention that the Flag-Bearer for Taiwan, Sung Ching-Yang, calls Jeremy Lin his hero.

Obviously I can't cheer for the guy over our American speed skaters, but I will admit that I won't be upset to see him get a medal!

Wasn't expecting that while watching the opening event, but glad to hear it. Go Rockets!!!

Glad to hear a member of the Rockets being mentioned international level.
I just couldn't get any infos from the winter Olympics, not to mention a Rockets related one.
