I hope kam doesn't see this...

This is a clutch stat for the year if i'm reading correctly by points

Landry made the top 20 at 16.. he is even high by +/-

Kevin Martin did not make the list at all...
Meanwhile T. Evans is at 13

A host of other rockets made the list too over Martin, but that seems odd

of course Brooks :D

Lowry
Scola
Ariza
Battier

in that order but Scola, Battier and Ariza were pretty far down

That's because Martin has difficulty scoring or getting calls in the 4th quarter. I think we all know this by now.

cant rely on pumpfake pumpfake pass in crunch time. u can, however, rely on ankle break, 360 spin, step back, drive left, dunk on shaq, pound chest. something that martin couldnt even dream of. i'll alaways be iffy on kmart until he shows he can play for real next season.

Kevin Martin would be risking injury with "pound chest"

why spell his full name, when he cant even stay healthy? and can only pumpfake and barely pass? life is too short, at least kmart makes him a little bit better.

when u say kevin martin, im like ehh w/e

when u say kmart, im like, ok

of corse this can all change, depends on wat happens next season

I always just call him Martin...
but im boring

btw Guy
you know players like Songalia, Turiaf, Battier etc. are all on there and Martin isn't even on that list of what 200 players...

he has more problems than just not getting calls in the 4th.

Chicken dinner!

P.S. The 1st time Landry gets double-teamed for 3 quarters and still drops 30, you guys can start equating him and FailMart.

Until then....shut it.

Apples and oranges, ladies.

I can compare Landry w/ Martin all I want too because we trade Landry for him...

And that is just a stat list which "leggings" an offensive star couldn't make...

and is "FailMart" = the store Kmart?

or the player? I'm confused.

The player. Not the store.

And you can compare them all you want. It's your right. Just as you can also compare Stockton and Wilt.

(They both led the league in assists, after all.)

i finally click on the link and look at it
that stat is not accurate
b/c it just show how many pts they scored in crunch time
look at those names
those are players with the ball in their hand during crunch time
i believe 82games got another stat sheet show how efficient they are in crunch time
i believe 2 years ago it was carmelo anthony at #1

haha thats a stretch.. those two guys didnt even play in the same dedcade.

I simply mention that its funny how a guy who's only great NBA skill is scoring... fails to score much when is matters most... according to that stat and what we have seen...

Read that again its points per 48 min of clutch time...
You mean to tell me its ok for Martin to not hit on average 1-2 shots in the last 5 min of a close game?

Unless he didn't play enough games to hit the requirement but idk.
Songalia is on the list :o

You and I have different standards.

and 2 years ago was the year Melo was averaging like something crazy like 15 pts in the 4 th quarter.
He was nailing game winner after game winner.

Martin is up there in the previous season
last season he didn't play whole lot and Evan is Kings' man
don't tell me because someone name is not on this year clutch stat and you want him gone
i guess we can just trade Yao for Bosh instead
btw
we didn't get Martin to be the #1 guy
the ball should be in Brooks hand in crunch time (the one that can actually dribble the ball)
i'm pretty sure Morey got a better stat sheets that 82games

Ok I know English isn't your 1st language so please reread what I have said and that list...

Half the guys on that list are not "clutch".
Are Lowry, Battier, Ariza, Scola, HAYES!!! our #1 guys?

NO
but they manage to hit one or two shots in the final 5 minutes of a close game....

You seen the games, Martin is good for a couple turnovers, a double dribble and a weak attempt at drawing a foul during that moment in a game...

BUT I had no idea he hasn't made more than a few buckets clutch time in the 46 games he has played this year.

Say what you will, but we have all seen it that stat is just mind blowing.

You'd expect a guy who avgs 20ppg to hit 1 or 2 freaking shots at that point of a game.

82 games is legit btw and many an agent/team use it and similar other stat programs/site for performance evaluation and contracts.

Morey himself said Martin aside from shooting has horrible stats... he isn't a "Moreyball player"
