Nikola Pekovic?

It was reported in Europe that the Houston Rockets and Minnesota Wolves are working on a trade for Nikola Pekovic. It would most likely be a draft day trade.
Pekovic wants to come to the NBA next season and the Wolves offer of $9 million over 3 years isn't enough money for him so they are discussing a trade with the Rockets, who would be willing to pay him what he wants, which is the MLE.

He doesn't really look that impressive in these highlights and the special effects at the beginning are cheesy.

I heard those rumors the other day, and if Morey gives the 14th overall pick in the draft for him, I am going to be extremely pissed. For one, he is unproven in the NBA, and 2. We better off passing on a guy like him. Now if it was for a future 2nd and cash then I would consider it.

I don't know. I'd kind of like to see this guy in a Rockets uniform.
If they could get the Wovles to send the 23rd along then would that make it better for the naysayers?
Oh, Rocketsfan713 - you have to remember that whomever we would pick at #14 is "unproven" in the NBA as well.
