Will Ron Also Apologize To Rox?

The man did stink it up with no effort whatsoever in that series against the Lakers...

He tried, but he tried doing it all him self. He was arrogant since Yao was gone he took it upon himself to be the "star" a role he couldn't fill. On the Lakers he sucked until the last two games and in the end helped them win because he was a wild card no one expected him to do anything offensively.

Let it go, dude.
I'm happy for Ron-Ron. Knowing that crazy fool is so happy right now is the only thing that takes the sting off of another freaking Lakers win.
Well...not completely. F LA!

I question alot of what Ron did.
Sprinting out of a hotel to catch a team bus IN YOUR UNDERWEAR, missing it and having to ride along with front office people and guests is just not a very proffesional thing to do.

I actually thought that Ron had a great postseason. All he needed to do was hoot about 15pts a game, play decent D, and play tough. he did all of these things.
Maybe now, people (commentators!) will stop making references to Auburn Friggin Hills, and leave the man alone. Maybe I am the odd one out, but I am happy for Ron Artest, and even happier that the NBA championship is staying on the West Coast!
Sure, his tenure in Houston didn't really work out, same can be said for a lot of players. Ron is a headcase, but find me an elite player in the NBA that isn't!

ARTEST DID APOLOGIZE TO US WHEN HE APOLOGIZED TO THE PACERS IN THE PRESS CONFERENCE.

I don't think Ron is a good (he's barely "decent") ball player, that his contract is properly valued, nor that he's completely sane.
However, neither was Auburn Hills a "horrible blight on the face of sports" (imo, "whoop dee doo" about sums it up, and always has), is Artest is a bad guy, nor am I entirely unhappy that he won. He, Odom, and Fisher are the only Lakers I can give half a rat's ass about.
List of people/organizations that can suck it: NBA, Stern, Kobe, KG (sorry dude, but you're flipping out right now; CTFD, accept that you're older, and stop acting like a psychopath), PJ, Not-Ms. PJ, anyone named Buss, Dirk Nowitzki (just cause), and Karl Malone (always).
Can anyone else wait for 2 more years to pass, as Kobe's scoring average dips into the low or sub 20s and he slowly completes his current fade into obscurity in the at-the-time NBA?

What about John Stockton (you mentioned Karl Malone), The Jazz as an organization (just off GP), Shawn Marion's shot, Stephon Marbury's head tattoo, Darko Milicic, Chris Wallace, the way Brett Favre spells his last name, the French, Donald Sterling, Ryan Bowen, JJ Barea, players that tweet during games, Tim Duncan's voice, Kwame Brown, Ben Wallace's ex fro cause it never grew since 04, and Dunleavy Jr (sorry).
This should be it's own thread

Can we call it the "John Starks' players & organizations that can suck it" thread?
(if not, then I nominate John Starks for inclusion on this list)

He had his moments for us just like he did with the Lakers. Looking at a full playoff perspective, Artest averaged 11/4/2 on 39/29/58 shooting. If the Lakers had lost, their fans would be calling for his head. Instead they won, and his best game happened to come in their biggest game. As they say, winning cures everything.

If Ron needs to apologize to us, then what does Tmac owe us?
We finally exited the first round in years and years with Ron Ron and Yao. He gets props from me for just that.

Tim Duncan seems pretty stable. D.Wade too. I wouldn't call Yao a headcase, nor Dwight Howard. Grant Hill was great at pretty much every angle until injuries. Steve Nash isn't a headcase, but he is Canadian.
If you mean headcase as 19 and 20 year olds with millions of dollars acting like kids when they look like adults but are still just kids... then sure, most elite players are headcases.

Find an elite player in the NBA that isn't a headcase?
You want Ron back? I'll switch him out for Trevor.
Love, Mitch.

How can a Rockets fan single out a player from either of those franchises??? May the Mavs and Jazz continue their futile NBA existences.
Ron doesn't owe the Rockets anything. He got them into the 2nd round. He's incredibly overrated and living off a reputation I'm not totally sure how he got in the first place, but he didn't do anything to the city of Houston that NBA players don't do to their former teams regularly.
