Free Agent Betting Thread (CLOSED, 07/02)

Every basketball pundit, blogger, and dis-spirited newspaper hack in the country is falling all over themselves with predictions about the upcoming free agent signings. In a collective homo-tizzy, they're blathering on about where LeJesus will go and how it will affect the allignment of our solar system. And you can't blame them for trying. They've got column inches to fill, after all. Ho's gotta eat, too.
But they don't have any skin in the game. There's no downside to their toothless guesses.
Here at RealGM, however, we're beter than that. We're men...mostly. Men understand the relentless causal relationship between mouth-written checks and the credit limits of our asses. We pay to play...especially at UT.
So here's the game:
1. Pick three free agents from the list of 10, below.
2. Pick where they will sign/play next year.
3. Profit.
Once all the free agents have made their decisions (based entirely on what was "best for my family", of course), we'll add up the points and post the winners. Top 3 point scorers get to choose the sigs of the lowest 3 - to be kept for one year. Ergo, 'skin in the game'.
So, finally, if you're scoring at home, here's how it works:
"Win" = right team. ("Win" = 3 points)
"So Close" = right division. ("So Close" = 2 points)
"No Cigar" = right conference. ("No cigar" = 1 point)
"David Kahn" = wrong everything. ("David Kahn" = 0 points)
Your ten free agent choices, chosen capriciously by me because it was my idea so screw you that's why:
LeJesus
Wade
Joe Johnson
Bosh
Boozer
Amare
T-Mac (not that he's a top free agent, but screw you it was my idea *see above*)
Brad Miller (for your token white guy)
Shaq
Iverson
Smoke if you got 'em, boys.
P.S. - Submissions locked when I decide they should be, so no trying to sneak in under the wire with your Reuters RSS reader.

Should I re-post this on the general board? Or no?

Damn. And here I was thinking I was being original.
But...
Picking all of them sure is a lot of work. Mine's easier.

LeBron James - Cleveland
Dwayne Wade - Miami
Joe Johnson - New York
Allen Iverson - Philly
Shaq - New Jersey
Brad Miller - Sacramento. (don't ask me how, a gut feeling!)
Tracy McLady - retirement, so no team whatsoever, and if I get that right, I want double points!!!!
Carlos Boozer - Utah
Amare Stoudamire - New York
Chris Bosh - I have no idea where he is concerned. I think maybe New Jersey.
Nuts are on the table!

2 out of 3 of you are doing it wrong.
Just pick three. The easiest three. Just three.

I like this one better.
Simpler, and less work for me.

This is indeed simpler than the other thread. Here's my go at it:
My 3 for points:
Dwyane Wade - Miami Heat
Amar'e Stoudemire - New York Knicks
Carlos Boozer - New Jersey Nets
Others for funsies:
LeBron James - Chicago Bulls
Joe Johnson - Houston Rockets
Chris Bosh - Miami Heat
Tracy McGrady - L.A. Clippers (they're the only team dumb enough to gamble on him)
Brad Miller - Houston Rockets (he likes Adelman too much)
Shaquille O'neal - Uh... Miami Heat again?
Allen Iverson - Retires. Finally.

Like herpes and that girlfriend who always pretends to be pregnant when you dump her, this thread shall return.
Thanks for your selections.
And since I forgot to add my OWN predeiction, here are my 3 Guaranteed Horrible Picks:
1. Carlos Boozer: Minnesota - b/c they need more over-valued forwards....right?
2. Lebron: Milwaukee - because he loves crappy beer.
3. DWade: Clippers - because he's secretly a cuckold and totally gets off on being over-shadowed by Kobe and blowing (out?) his MCL.
To Whoever Gets To Pick My Avatar:
Go gay if you want. I can deal. It's the price of doing business. But if you put some pro-Jazz thing thing under my name, I will hunt you and kill you. (To be fair, I will wait patiently for the cops.)
Some things are worse than prison rape.
Being a Jazz fan is 1st among them.

Two things: First, Wade blowing out his MCL would be pretty much the
bestcase scenario for him on the Clippers. He'd probably end up getting into a high-speed collision with the rim and dislocating his front 8 teeth, falling from there, pulling a Livingston (ACL/MCL/fibia tear/dislocation), and then having his arm somehow completely detach itself from his shoulder and start crawling away on its own. Actually, no. It'd strangle him.
It's the Clippers. Anything (bad) is possible!
