Nah I don't like that deal at all, We are giving up to much talent on our part. Martin,Scola, Battier, Brooks make more of an impact than Bosh/Johnson alone. Its not worth going to those drastic measures and ruining chemo

We don't really need to do a heck of a lot

Starting PG: Brooks
Starting SG: Martin
Backup SG/SF: Budinger
Backup PF: Patterson
C rotation: Yao/Hill/Hayes

The gaps are: Backup PG (Lowry - we have his rights), Starting PF (Scola - we have his rights; or a big-name).

At the moment, Ariza and Battier are our SFs, and they could of course go in a Bosh/Amare deal.

It's a waiting game at the moment, but it won't take a lot for this offseason to be very successful for us.

Houston trades: Shane Battier, Jared Jeffries, Jermaine Taylor, a future 1st? to Philadelphia
Houston receives: Andre Iguodala

Rockets
F: Andre Igoudala, Trevor Ariza
F: Luis Scola, Patrick Patterson, Chuck Hayes
C: Yao Ming, Brad Miller, Jordan Hill, David Andersen
G: Aaron Brooks, Kyle Lowry
G: Kevin Martin, Chase Budinger

Sixers
F: Thadeous Young, Shane Battier, Andres Nocioni, Jason Kapono
F: Marreese Speights, Elton Brand
C: Spencer Hawes, Jared Jeffries
G: Jrue Holiday, Louis Williams
G: Evan Turner, Jermaine Taylor, Willie Green

Battier and Jeffries are in the last year of their contracts which would be the incentive for them to unload AI's contract, since they just drafted Evan Turner.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

Nice trade package, but I think the Sixers need Iguodala to connect their young guards with their bigs.

If Bosh doesn't work, how about Battier, Hill, Jefferies and NY pick for Camelo...

Yao, Brad Miller (FA), Anderson
Scola, Patterson, Hayes
Anthony, Ariza, Budinger
Martin, JT

I think we're gonna need more than that to land Melo.

Rockets
Granger, T.J. Ford, Chris Bosh 2nd Pick from Pacers, and cash

Pacers get
David Anderson, Kyle Lowry, Hedo Turk, Jose Calderon, Luis Scola, and a pick from Toronto

Raptors
Brandon Rush, Shane Battier, Jordan Hill, Troy Murphy, Trevor Arzia, and two Picks from the Rockets

Bird is know for doing big trade and wants a new PG or two. The Raptors get rid of Jose, whom they been wanting to get rid of, and the unhappy Hedo. In return they get prospects and future picks and expiring contracts. Know i don't think it will happen but i can sure dream.

PG: AB, T.J. Ford
SG: Kevin Martin, Jermaine Talyor
SF: Danny Granger, Chase Budinger
PF: Chris Bosh, Pattrick Paterson, Chuck Hayes
C: Yao Ming, Brad Miller (MLE)

This is a dream season thread, so not going to mention specifically which idea won't work due to salary issues. Please note that Scola and Lowry will not be easy to trade since they are RFA.

Scola especially will most likely face the BYC scenario and is extremely difficult to trade him.
For Scola, if he gets more than $4 million, he will be a BYC player for trading purpose.
