Boris Diaw?

Post#1 » by texasholdem » Fri Jul 9, 2010 9:36 pm

Bobcats just signed Tyrus Thomas for 5/$40m
How about Shane Battier for Diaw?
Diaw is an awesome defender and passer and can hit the 3 pt.
He can even play center.

Charlotte might want Shane's expiring since Diaw has another year left.
Battier seems like a good fit with Larry Brown and he goes back to Duke country.

Rockets
F: Diaw, Ariza
F: Scola, Patterson, Hayes
C: Yao, Hill, Andersen
G: Martin, Budinger, Taylor
G: Brooks, Lowry

Bobcats
F: Wallace, Battier
F: Thomas,
C: Mohammed, Chandler?, Diop
G: Augustin
G: SJackson, Henderson
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

Haha
I don't think that since Ariza is the start SF forward and Budinger is just to good to take minutes from. If Budinger was not on the team then i would like

man wtf is up w/ yall? this is so **** irritating. what is your fascination with undersized bigs? it's like morey used his super powers to instill his undersized fantasy in the heads of rocket fans.

what about a proven big with size? what about a big black guy? thats who i want backup up yao, a shot blocking, board crashing, trash talking big ass black guy. not some offensive minded softy, who has to underhand his shots cuz he too short to dunk. /green font but still somewhat serious

defense is what this team is lacking, not offense. offense is a problem of the past. we need more defense. morey even said this current roster cannot contend. cmon morey, get that black guy we've all been waitin for.

Fans tend to overrate the value of an expiring, but still. If all we get from Battier's expiring is Boris freaking Diaw **** gonna go down. That fat underachieving Frenchy can go eat someone else capspace.

Diaw is only a center in the sick twisted demented mind of Dan Tony.

+1 for the 2nd coming of Jerry Lucas / Big black guy idea.

Not that I think a 2nd team traditional center is particularly relevant, in today's game. Most teams' 2nd units skew small.

But since our starting center is a bit fragile...

Diaw does a lot for his team and he's 4 years younger than Shane
He can be a point forward type of SF for this team
I'm sure he can get the post pass to Yao better than Shane or Aaron can.

As Rox says we need defense and a big black center. He needs to be nasty and loud like Sheed and if we make a trade with the Bobcats it better be for Chandler

Thinking about it, he would be a very good match up against Lamar Odom when we play LAL in the WCF. :D

He's also getting paid 9M this year and next. I don't think that his production is worth his salary, and would rather use whatever we have left on Lowry and Scola.
