It's that time of the year fellas! Thank god we had the World Cup this year, it made the summer dry-spell a lil' easier to deal with!

Tonight we have the Dallas Cowgirls lead by Tony Simps.... err Romo going against Ochocinco and the Bengals!

Mods, I know there is a Texans board, but that forum gets less action than A.C. Green. Could we keep this thread open for football talk?

Football can suck it - unless Baylor makes a bowl game. And since that ain't gonna happen, football can suck it.

I'm to (Please Use More Appropriate Word) to watch football, looks to complicated, I can understand putting a ball into a hoop though.

Personally, I would like to merge this thread with the community thread (technically all non-basketball related threads should go there). But if you disagree, I will leave this thread here for now.

Eh, even with my loathing for football (I was a marching band geek in high school), I'd say it's a big enough deal to merit an "OT: Football" thread here. Just let it run.

I've been supporting Houston football for year (Texans and Oilers) so I'm all for an OT Football thread. While we 're on the topic of football I'd also like to suggest an "I hate Bud Adams" thread

As a Falcons fan, I disapprove this message.

Football sucks.

That means AFL, Aussie rules, where they actually KICK the ball quite regularly. Unlike GRIDIRON which is what Americans call Football, where you throw it 90% of the time.

Either way, they all suck. Basketball is the best sport ever invented. And from where I come from, (Melbourne Australia) hating Football is as close to Blasphemey as you can get. I get told all the time that I am "Un-Australian" because I don't like football.

And this is where I really stir it up. Baseball is just a stupider version of Cricket.

I am impartial to Ice Hockey, gotta leave the Canadians something.

I thank Dr. Naismith every day for Basketball, even if he did only invent it to keep Footballers occupied during the offseason.

Both of y'all can kick rocks fareal. It is definitely all about them Texans. But on the cool, the Eagles are my NFC team. But I'm ridin with city all day long.
