what are your insights?

Hayes would be a million times better if he was at least 6'9. If he was 6'11+ he's an automatic all star for most if not all of his career.

but really if we sign anotther center, i still think hayes should get some minutes at the 5. not every game, but in certain matchups he should play some backup 5. dampier still has some left in the tank. w/ yao at 24mpg, we need another shot blocking precense inside and hayes isnt that guy, dampier is.

seems wasteful to give miller 5 mil and sign another center to play 10mpg, but o well, no complaints here. defense is key to a championship

For me, it comes down to one simple equation:

Chuck Hayes vs. Lakers = no help
E. Dampier vs. Lakers = help

P.S. - The Texans/Cowboys man-on-the-street TV interviews are AWESOME. Channel 11 had a guy on from a barbershop, and in comedy terms it approached "hide your kids, hide your wife, 'cause dey rapin' errbody".

what is with the rockets they can barely attract other teams to trade or even sign free agents lol..even erick dumpier is having second thoughts joining the rockets even when being offered more money than the bucks. Yao ming isn't that attractive in the team anymore since they know he's injury prone.

Just a thought, but you don't need a bunch of splashy free agent signings when you're already 2-3 deep at every position.

I know it's a novel concept for a Knick fan, but it's something to ruminate on.

Nobody said that..putting words into ppl's mouths will backfire as it is only making yourself look stupid-ER and not the other way around. You are just satisfied with above average teams? 83 does not equal to SUCK..if you had any sort of education it's equivalent to a B-..which is ABOVE AVERAGE. You act like Daryl is god but things only started sparking for boston due to big 3 trade AFTER daryl left. I don't think the ipad wielding Daryl has the cajones for blockbusters.
