http://www.realgm.com/src_checktrade.ph ... id=5731870 Knicks give a young prospect in Randolph but win Ming.
http://www.realgm.com/src_checktrade.ph ... id=5731877 Pacers contend for the playoffs. Collison, Brooks, Rush, Granger, Scola, Miller.. they may be giving a very good young player in return but add 2 big white guys who are always welcome in Indiana.

Rockets team:

Lowry/Ford (Exp)
Lee/Carter(Exp)
Budinger/Azubuike(Exp)
Randolph/Anderson/Patterson
Hibbert/Hayes(Exp)

Expirings of E.Curry, Carter, Ford, Jeffries, Hayes, Azubike and Foster will release 56 millions next summer.

Only players in contract:
A. Randolph
Hibbert
R. Anderson
Patterson
Budinger
Lee

And Lowry who will be the only player with a non-rookie contract, but the salary is not that high, at 5.7 millions.

which free agent(s) are you targeting in the off-season? Carmelo Anthony?

i would not do any stupid trade unless it's expired contracts in 2012
that's right 2012 is the next superstar free agent year
you got Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Dwight Howard
all have player option to opt out in 2012

I heard Tracy McGrady might me available....

just kidding.

I don't really know, but idea is to start spending in 2/3 years .

A lineup based on Lowry, Lee, Bud, Hibbert and Randolph is pretty good, imagine if we draft a future superstar SF or SG.

You expect Scola to be the starting C for the Knicks? Really?

You're also putting too much faith in landing a future "superstar". What do you really think the chances of landing a "superstar" are?

Scola to Pacers and Yao to Knicks.

If you have a top5 pick for the next 2 years, the chances are big, not a superstar like Durant but atleast a Westbrook or Hibbert.

Damn, i doubt Pacers want to trade Hibbert after watching him play and i think they really love him. But the value i consider in my dream trade scenario was pretty pretty pretty good, Scola-Brooks-Miller...

A Westbrook or Hibbert is barely an improvement over Brooks and what we have now. You're getting too trigger happy and placing way too much faith in the draft.

What else what we have? with this current team we are not going to be contenders. And it doesnt look like there are even rumors about something via trade.

Looks like the Rox can forget about getting Kevin Love after his performance last nite.

You're asking for change, and then randomly propose some lopsided deal so that the Rockets can be setback into years of suckage just so that we could tank for a mediocre, mid-tier prospect like Hibbert or Westbrook. Do you not see the flaw in that? You think we'll get anywhere with Hibbert as our top prospect?

Eric Bledsoe looks good for the Clippers. He can run the floor real well, can score, steal, very quick and is a steal for 18th or 19th pick. Considering, Patterson is in the d league, Bledsoe wouldve been a terrific 3rd PG. He is nba ready too.

And we`ll get somewhere with an injured franchise player and Kevin Martin as the star of the team?

Yeah, at least we have flexibility and we won't have to endure another season of suckage. I'm starting to doubt that you actually want the Rockets to succeed. Do you like watching seasons like the Nets or Kings of last year?

Also you still haven't answered my post. You're just avoiding it with questions of your own. With a Hibbert like prospect, all we'll end up with is where we are now. Do you want Morey to end up tanking, just so that he can end up with where we are now in a couple of years? Tanking for a Westbrook or Hibbert like prospect won't guarantee a championship no matter how you spin it.

Because you have room for improvement having 2 or 3 guys like Westbrook or Hibbert, they are young and talented and can become something special with the years. In the other hand we know Scola, Martin and Yao will not improve.
Teams like Kings (for example) made some bad trades etc. in last years but they finally have the player iam talking about, Tyreke Evans can be something very special, definitely a player to build around.

Anyway, let´s see how it goes from now to the allstar break, if Rockets have a positive record in the break will be ok.

So with a Hibbert like prospect we'll still be stuck in mediocrity. You do realize that Scola has improved in every season he's been with the Rockets, right? And also, you do realize that Yao is expiring, right? I think it's obvious that we need to improve via trades, but you're asking us to blow it up just so that we can luck out in the draft. Do you not understand how flawed that idea is? Those trades that you proposed are also unfair from the other team's perspective. You expect Indy or NY to give us Hibbert for that crap package? Stop being trigger happy and just watch how the season plays out.

Rockets are looking good now...we have 3 of our rotational guys injured and still pull out a nice win. If we can sneak into the playoffs and have Yao for ~30 mins a night we're going to be a very dangerous team.
