i think i'm the only one who thinks this team can turn it around...once they get healthy and build chemistry. when yao gets back we'll start winning games. till then we can only beat lottery teams.
this is the last season this current roster can contend. it depends a lot on health and chemistry. if key players keep getting hurt we can't build any significant chemistry. and of corse yao needs more than 24mpg, at least in the playoffs.

PG: Kyle "Sooner or Later I will make one... Right?" Lowry
it should be "sooner or later i will made one (that count) ... right?"

I don't know who this Gemma Atkinson person is, but I say she should get some minutes at the 2.

The Raptors have David Andersen. We are doomed.

Who's the better defender? David Andersen or Kevin Martin?

You're not the only one, but the # is dwindling, obviously. Problem is Yao. Even if/when he comes back healthy, this 6 min per qtr stuff really screws things up. If he just played the 2nd half in a normal fashion, as someone suggested on the board (i forget), it might help. Couldn't be any worse anyway.
And of course, w/o, we are nowhere.

No player should play 24 minutes straight.
I'd play Yao 6-8 minutes in the first half and the 16-18 minutes in the second half.

I think the suggestion was just play him in the second half as you would normally without worrying about minutes, not play him the entire half straight.

especially yao ming, should not play 12 minutes straight, let alone 24 minutes. even guys like kobe need a break. this 24mpg is ok until the all star break (hopefully january/early feb). i dunno what they're gonna do if we make the playoffs. uyou cant play yao 24minuts in the playoffs, in the west conference. it seems terrible to play him 4-8 min in the first half but o well, it could be better than this 6 minuer per quarter.

i'm not asking yao to play 24 min straight
i'm asking to play him only in the 2nd half
9 min in 3rd quarter and 9 min in 4th quarter, 5 min in overtime (if necessary)

That's like asking which one of Charles Barkley's nut you'll rather suck, the left one or the right one. There isn't an answer to a question like this.

The pessimism on this board is under-whelming.
I think we can turn things around, we just need more luck with injuries. (something we have needed since 1996!!!)

Glorious, but fake.

Not to me it doesn't.
