Courtney Lee is a sneaky, sneaky man.

Seems like I just looked at his stats a week or two ago and he was shooting 39/34, and now he's at 46/51. His rebounding is still a little subpar, but his turnovers are nice.

This made me smile. We finally have a 50% 3p shooter.

sample size. He doesn't shoot that many 3pt shot. Although i must admit his mid range game is really nice. Good elevation and all.

he's not sposed to be that good w/o all stars to feed off of. he's shooting almost 78% from the 3 in december, on 1.3 attempts tho

Brad Miller was over 50% till recently as well, still an amazing 48%!

But yeah, it's good to see he's been playing better, with his shot going down, his defensive effort has also been more consistent.

Yeah his percentages are perfection. But we want to win a game. Not play for percentages. Tonights game is good example. He was 2/2 100% but refused to shoot for a whole 3rd quarter. And made a three in the last 5 seconds of the game. He is a good scorer. Why not shoot more?

when you're that great at shooting, you can't pass up that many shots. He shot 2 shots for entire half, and 2 shots entire 3rd ? Yeah i know he's a role player. But we have chuck hayes and Battier who can score none in periods. Why not step up since he's 50% shooter? just saying. lol.

Hey let's just focus on the fact the he's picking up his scoring efficiency. And to aznkillabeezZz, I really wouldn't worry about him scoring more, I would want him to focus on scoring better. The reason I say this is because offense has only been a scarce problem this season. As much as we focus on us not being able to close games out on offense, I feel like we fail to realize that we're scoring over 100 darn near every game. The problem is defense. We get enough shots to win the game. Thats why I'm really not worried about any one player shooting more (so that doesn't just go for Lee), I'm more so concerned with our efficiency going up.

I wouldn't be surprised if we package Bud in another deal. I hope he continues to play well since it would be good trade bait. I can't see him, Battier, and TWilliams all being together after the trade deadline. Too much logjam.

If Bud isn't shooting well, he most likely won't be able to rebound, play D, etc. so i see him expendable. I think Morey is really trying to find two-way players now.

This is why the Rockets should have traded "Bud" when his value was high. Now he has zero value. I recall Rockets fans shooting down trade proposals that included Budinger claiming that he was worth more etc.... Look at him now...

It's not "Rockets fan" decision. U can wipe your ass with any trade proposal that comes through here. It's meaningless.

And he just had consecutive 6-10 7-10 FG games. The kid can shoot, and shooters are valuable in the NBA .. A white player who can playmake, score, and is a great athlete. Jazz or Pacers might be interested.

I like the sign off. It adds a classy touch. Nice.

Don't quit your day job, buddy.

How about this offer:

Randolph, Douglas for Ish Smith and Courtney Lee?

Return to Houston Rockets
