Now that Yao's career as an NBA player has come to an end, I figured we could all share our favorite Yao moments.

Yao isn't dead...

RIP? come on it's just basketball, Yao has more to accomplish in his life than NBA career.

I was pissed that I didn't get to see the game (I was at school in PA), but I definitely was hype watching SC that day.

I remember this game. I was pissed cause we were staging a comeback until they called a tech on this play. We ended up losing and, later, missing out on the playoffs to the Suns by 1 game. After all the mess Yao was taking all year, the instant he showed emotion was called a tech.... BS.

There's a YouTube vid out there somewhere, in which the cameras catch Yao after a dominant 6 minute stretch of game time. He's walking back to the Rox bench after the opponents called time out to contemplate his dominance. Yao is pumped. He turns toward the opposing bench - and the mikes didn't catch it - but any blind man could read his lips as he screamed...

"You. Can't. F***ing. Guard. Me!"

Crystal clear, sans sound.

Classic.

The behind the back play was simply amazing!

What made Yao so special wasn't only his size, but his skill set to go along with it. Its really sad that injuries had to take their toll. Simply put, people aren't meant to be that tall.

I'd say when he actually showed up for a playoff series against the Blazers.
