Is Marcus Camby the (short-term) answer?

Most of us are quite familiar with Marcus over the years. From his stint in Toronto where he became known as a low post defender, to Denver where he flourished defensively as well, leading the league in blocked shots. He's averaging 10 rebounds per game right now, which is excellent. We've got the assets to get him, as Yao isn't only a good player, he's a big draw for marketing. Camby has a nice jumpshot from up close, a post game.. he's great.

Yao/2nd for Camby and a filler? :dontknow:

I'd rather have him than Chris Kaman... although Camby is 36 years old, how short-term is he going to be?

He could be but I don't think we are a team that's one player away so I don't know. He would help us out a lot though

he should either be at the bottom of our list or not on it at all. also since he's almost done, if we sign him it should be a short contract. 1-2 years for not that much, prolly wont agree

He signed a 2 yr deal, so next season will be his expiring deal. I think this is his last contract before he hangs it up unless some contender comes calling. I would give up Jeffries expiring deal for him, but i think Morey wouldnt even do that honestly. He might be looking for a long term solution big guy.

He seems too much a move that would be predicated on this season, and not a big enough move to justify since he wouldn't really change the dynamic, or status of our team in the Western Conference playoff race. I wouldn't mind him, he'd solve alot of our problems (though overrated defensively, man to man wise at least), but it'd be funny, and sad at the same time to see Yao and Oden on the same team..
