When: Today (Jan 2, 2011). 9:00 EST
Where: Portland, Oregon

Rockets Expected Starting Lineup
PG - Kyle Lowry
SG - Kevin Martin
SF - Shane Battier
PF - Luis Scola
Cc - Jordan Hill

Blazers Expected Starting Lineup
PG - Andre Miller
SG - Wesley Matthews
SF - Nicholas Batum
PF - LaMarcus Aldridge
Cc - Marcus Camby

Key Reserves:
Rockets: Aaron Brooks
Blazers: Rudy Fernandez

Some Notes:
- Matthews in his 20 games as a starter is doing nearly 20 PPG with 4 RPG on 47% shooting.
- Aldridge has been on a tear, averaged 20/9 on 50% in the month of December.
- Portland is 11-3 at home.
- Game is on NBATV
- Whoever wins takes control of 8th seed, lol.

Figured I'd make it since game is just four hours away. Big game for the 8th seed, but will be a tough game on the road.

GO ROCKETS

Got the right picture for the Rockets' starting center; but the wrong name! ;)

*changed haha :)

The game is on FSN too (at least according to Yahoo), was just noting that it was ALSO on NBATV for those who have it, and are often relegated to finding streams for the game, like myself.

u cant use links?

this is the first game of the toughest month this season. 17 games, only 3 vs lottery teams, 5 back to back including the next 2 games, one day breaks only, and hayes is out 2-4 weeks (perfect timing :( ). the only thing good about this month is that we dont play the lakers or heat.

team has to step up big.

NBATV is considered nationally televised game so they black it out

I'm glad to see Patty Mills get a run for Portland. Other than that, I just turned the game on, and saw the last shot of the Q.

Patterson has some really good oppurtunities to play some decent time in the next 2 - 3 weks. I hope he takes this chance by the scruff of the neck.

Same here, he played excellent during the summer and I was shocked when he didn't get picked up
