This is a game thread for the Rockets board involving the following situation: A scandal has rocked the NBA and it has caused 6 teams to be contracted by the league. The owners are bought out (because let's face it - they aren't going to lose money!
), and all of the players on the rosters of these six teams are made available in an Re-Allocation Draft for the remaining 24 teams. Each team, for this one season, is allowed to expand their roster to 16 players. There will be 3 rounds in this draft. I am forbidden by court order to tell you the reasons why these particular 6 teams were contracted...but since it's the Rockets board and we're all cool and I know you won't rat me out I will confirm the following: it involves female Mexican journalists, dog fighting, inappropriate cell phone pictures of man meat, foot fetish videos, possible Al Qaeda connections, hookers, more hookers, my god - you would not believe how many hookers and worst of all - possible HGH usage.
What I am looking for here is for some of you to step up and act as GM's for the remaining teams for this Re-Allocation draft. You must look out for the best interests of the teams you represent - EVEN
IF YOU ARE DRAFTING FOR UTAH OR DALLAS. It will be a first-come, first-serve basis for choosing to GM a team. If we can't fill out all of the spots by Wednesday then I'll allow people to select a second team to GM on a first-come, first-serve basis.
I will not be GM'ing a team. I'm going to play the role of David Stern...only without all of the usual David Stern doucheyness.
