I'm ready for the Aaron Brooks era to end. So whats up with Lull? Anyone know his contract situation?

His stats from this year don't show the kind of progress you'd like to see. Assist to turnover ratio is still a bit low, and shooting % is still iffy. He still appears to be pretty inconsistent.

he´s is not playing the point, his team signed up ex-blazers Sergio Rodriguez ( who btw is playing a crappy season) , the other pg being argentinian Prigioni, so 80% of the time he is playing as a shooting guard, it´s is true his shooting as not being as consistent as last season but without any doubt he is the leader of the team, bringing lots of energy, character, deffense and stamina.

Tomorrow his team is playing the QF of the prestigious midseason tournament "Copa del Rey", there will be easy to get on the web (legally) It´s always better have a look to the player than making our opinions based on boxscores.

http://www.nba.com/rockets/news/checkin ... 02_09.html

“He added a couple things to his game this year including a pull-up jumper. We always were happy with him defensively because he is just such a good athlete. He’s an energy guy, an emotional guy that can defend multiple positions and he’s just constantly giving effort, so he’s more of a two-way player who’s constantly giving his best.

NBA readiness: “My personal feeling is he is crafted for the NBA game. He’s suited to play more positions and an up-and-down game because he’s such a good athlete. You have to let him loose. He is a player who excels in transition. It was great to see Real Madrid play him more at the point guard position where he was able to run the team. But with his athletic ability and physical style, I think he’s more suited to the NBA game.”

Also talks about Leunen, Newley and Eliyahu

Always thought he was to be Lowry's replacement.
Now,I don't know what to think. Llull's not coming over if there's any hint of a lock-out,and IMHO Ish will be entrenched as the back-up PG after next season.

Return to Houston Rockets
