We traded 3 players (Battier, Smith and Brooks) for 2 (Thabeet and Dragic) so we have an open roster spot.

Mike Harris is playing for Yao's Shanghai Sharks and currently averaging 24.7ppg and 14.5rpg while shooting 60% from the field and 43% on threes.

Shanghai's regular season ends March 11. They are currently ranked 11th out of 17 CBA teams. The top 8 teams there make the playoffs.

He would be a good back up to Chase or TWill or whoever is the new starting SF for the final month of the season.

As for Mike Harris. Been there done that. No real need for him either.

Also there's another Memphis player coming to Houston, otherwise the salaries don't match. Most likely DeMarre Carroll.

having mike harris will only taking playing time away from young players
i can guaranteed you that adelman will play harris ahead of t-will
he's an old school coach that will play the guys he know
he still play hill in the 1st half hopefully he play better before playing patterson

lee will be playing backup sf and sg
