Rockets buyout Jeffries contract

Jared Jeffries has agreed to a buyout from the Rockets, according to a source.

Jeffries is expected to sign with the Knicks when he clears waivers.

more guaranteed playing time for pat and hasheem. knicks desperately need size. jj wont give them that much but they'll appreciate his defense.

Happy trails JJ.

good buyout. now they can roll with a well-defined depth chart of:

lowry/dragic
mart/lee
bud/williams/carroll
scola/hill/patt
hayes/brad/thabeet

that's 3 deep on all front-line positions from SF to C. still may need an emergency guard so picking up a guy like PG singletary or lucas or somebody cheap would be nice.

Dragic is a real machine. I would not be surprised to see him start for the Rockets in a few weeks. The guy can light it up..

Mike Bibby is about to be bought out by the Wizards.
I'm sure Adelman will want him.
If the goal really is the 8th seed in the west then he would be valuable.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

Jeffries....... he was a good guy. Never complained. Played defense all the time. he's going to help the knicks.

why going for the 8th seed?
we want to miss the playoff and let phoenix get the 8th spot
so we can get higher draft pick :D

Flip Patterson & Hill and you have the rotation right.
