The basketball Gods took his soul. Be nice to them, and you might see him tonight.
Oh divine Basketball Gods, how I praise thee with all my might. Have mercy, for I have seen the light. Amen.

No official word yet. I would think he's back later this week. Rockets had 3 days off and he still couldn't go, so it could take 1-2 weeks to get back on the court.

About a week ago Morey said that Scola would most likely miss the next three games.
The Suns game was the third game, so I'd expect him to play tomorrow.
EDIT:
Luis Scola (knee) still not cleared for practice. No change in his status. Still day-to-day going forward.

Would Scola and both of our first round picks be enough to move up to get the #1 overall pick?
Would it be worth it for a Perry Jones or Harrison Barnes?
or maybe one of the Euro centers: Kanter, Motiejunas or Valanciunas?
Not saying Patrick Patterson is ready to be an NBA starting PF after one game (in which he didn't play very well) but Scola turns 31 next month so time is becoming a factor with him.

Yeah, it sucks because I thought Luis "Jesus" Scola was never going to miss a game. Now that streak is over.

Luis Scola received injection for injured knee. Still doubtful for tonight, would not rule out possible return for Boston game on Friday.

Even though he started playing professionally at a young age, Euroleague seasons are much much shorter than that of the NBA, so I don't think hes logged as much minutes as a 31 year old NBA veteran. His game is also not centered around his athleticism so he shouldn't be in a decline anytime soon. It'll just be hard to find minutes for Patterson since Scola is such an ironman.

well he has played a lot of international ball too.
maybe not athleticism in the tradional sense but a bum knee doesn't work well with his fancy postmoves. Yao missed only 2 games in his first 3 seasons so he was considered an ironman once.

Positive sign: Luis Scola taking part in practice today. Will have an update on his status when the session concludes.
