Rockets to sign D-League MVP Mike Harris

Post#1 » by x- » Mon Mar 21, 2011 10:10 pm

Wow.
With another late-season injury, the Rockets will make another call to familiar fill-in Mike Harris, a person with knowledge of the decision said Monday.

Harris, who had completed his season in China, had been considering offers to play for the Rockets' NBA Development League affiliate or in Puerto Rico when Rockets forward Chase Budinger sprained his left ankle Sunday against the Utah Jazz. He is expected to sign with the Rockets on Tuesday.

Harris, a 6-6 former Rice star, has played in 25 games in two previous seasons with the Rockets, averaging 3.5 points and three rebounds in an average of 9.6 minutes. He also played five games with the Washington Wizards last season.

Harris helped key the Rio Grande Valley Vipers run to last season's NBA Development League championship and went to camp with the Rockets this season before he was a late cut in favor of a third point guard, Ish Smith.

It's a tradition for the rockets. We sign him once a year to 10 day contracts.

Harris is like a cheap prostitute. Always good for a quickie when u need it. After a while, you pay em to GTFO.

So Patterson is going to play some 3 against the Warriors. This is going to be interesting. On offense he can play the SF some. He can stretch the floor and run. Can he defend SF?

Watching the post game interviews. We have some of most politically correct/boring interview in the league. Listening to Patterson/Lowry/Martin is like listening to nothing at all. They never say anything.

Its humbling blah blah blah.
I'm honored blah blah.
Its an acomplishment but i couldn't have done it without my teammates.
I dont worry about any of that, we can only control our team.
I'm happy for ______, but i only care about winning.

Its like playing NBA 2k11 in my players mode and only picking the professional answer.

Reason #381 we need a Big Black Guy: No Personality.

If we sign a big black guy, his press conference is gonna be like "ya ya dats right bitch, i chose houston over LA fake s**t, Super Gay Friends, and even OKC. Dont even tell me about Boston. You ask me why i chose houston? Cuz i gotta brain bitch dats why. Ima kill any mother**** who brings dat **** in my paint. Dis my block, get the **** outta here. Punk Bitch!"
