Question for a Magic Fan
Not here to troll by any means but I just wanna get your thoughts on C.Lee? We have a Large TE and would be able to pick him up for cash if you guys were interested in moving him or we could offer a young big in Orton or vets like Q.Rich or Duhon

Re: Question for a Magic Fan
i'm no gm
but i don't mind trading courtney lee back to orlando for future 1st round pick
we have way too many young players we don't have time for them to play
with lee gone there is more playing time for t-will and dragic

@MagicJunkie2
The Rockets front office is pretty high on Lee.
We'd consider moving him (like any player on this team), if I'd improve our team going forward, but frankly Orlando doesn't have the pieces to get him.
You won't get Lee for a TPE and cash or guys like Richardson, Duhon or Orton.
The Rockets were reportedly asking for the Bobcats 2012 first and Omer Asik in return for Lee at last years deadline.
C'mon Max. No way.
... and I wanted to stop commenting on trades

How bad do you want him? Lee for Ryan Anderson and 2 first rounders.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

Re: Question for a Magic Fan
I'd say that the Rockets are extremely unlikely to move him, unless it's part of a deal to upgrade at a position. Offering part of a TPE is not even worth starting a conversation. We also have plenty of "project bigs" on the roster.

Anderson had a pretty good year avg 10.6 and 5.6 in 22 minutes per game.
Lee avg 8.3 and 2.6 in 21 minutes per game.
I know they play different positions but Anderson is like a young Brad Miller.

we need to develop our young players
we can't keep having all these good role players eating up playing time
PF playing time is already stack with Scola, Patterson, Hill

Max, why do you not want a proven, decent young player on a cheap contract, who by your own words should be on a contender, which is what we're trying to build here, in favor of an unproven head case who's supposedly very talented, and a guy .. who doesn't even play his position?
Lee IS one of our young players, but there's no burden in developing him, so why get rid of him?

Yeah, I'm all in favor of being selfish and keeping our good, young players!

Re: Question for a Magic Fan
lee is one of the young players we should keep. his resume is awesome for a 3 year pro. his rookie year resume is awesome itself. we havent seen the best of lee, not until we get a rim protector. he's only gonna get better. he feeds off of stars and rim protectors. if we're gonna rebuild why not keep him?

lee is what he is now
i don't see he will improve much more
t-will is a headcase
so is cousins
they will either improve and become better player or continue to be headcase
not giving him the chance is waste of talent

Eh. Dunno. It's not like Lee is all that remarkable, just passable. I don't see either of those other two guys doing anything either, though. You could just as easily look at it as a waste of talent to not play Lee in favor of either of them. It's hard to believe Cousins only shot 43% as a CENTER. Even his profile pic looks like "I am only here for the paycheck and women. This does not interest me at all"

This is why I always liked Mike Harris (0.246 WP48) - guy is a rebounding fool who takes quality shots and doesn't make turnovers. Lets get rid of the other three entirely and play him instead. I've been wanting him on the team full time for years.

Serious dude? I like CLee, but we can probably find equivalence player through Free Agency. I don't get why other Magic fans are so high on him.
