List 5 things that you were wrong about this past season. I'll start...
1. Jordan **** Hill -
2. Drafting/advocating for the trade for BJ Mullens/Cole Aldrich/Biedrins/Dexter Pittman/Al Jefferson/any 7 footer with size - roxfasho's BBM argument was too convincing.
3. Aaron Brooks -

4. Chuck
5. Yao

Thought Yao would last about 50 games, and actually expected something from Hill. That's about it for this last year, Rockets-wise.

Hint: Don't judge rookies till year 3 of actual playing time.

We have a lot of players entering their 3rd year!

I second the Jordan Hill mention. I didn't think he'd ever be a star, but I thought he showed enough to be a guy that could be a big part of our rotation, and eventually become a near double double player.

There should be some profile sections for making predictions for the year.
1. we still have KM
2. there wasn't a major trade deadline trade - though we did get rid of AB for Dragic++
3. yao's career actually does look to potentially be over this time
4. jordan hill didn't really develop at ALL
We really finished right where we should have without Yao last year ... slightly-over .500. Had we had him, we were maybe a 50-53 win team. We need rebounding, badly.
Come to think of it, I think there was a predictions thread last offseason...
We're also set up nicely from a business perspective for this season. With no revenues, costs are low, and future obligations are low given uncertainty.
Gotta remember, while lambasting Morey for not successfully getting a superstar in the last 6 months... no one knows what's going to happen to their contracts. Waiting for the new CBA to get one is probably a good move, whether it was accidental or intentional.

I still can't believe how Kyle Lowry emerged as an NBA starting PG. Back in 2006, I thought the guy was seriously overrated due to his lack of playmaking and shooting skills. He is definitely one of the biggest surprises in this league.

He wasn't handed anything in the NBA so he worked his ass off and took the brass ring when he saw it. One of my favorite guys to wear a Rockets uniform. Hope he wears it for a long, long time.
