Just Checking in. Usually we'd be amped about training camp, and the offseason movement. But everything on that front is just..... Meh.

Patty Mills is playing back home here in Australia, and Bogut looks like playing here as well. So I might go and checkout some NBL games, (Australian Basketball at anything but a national level, has not given me much cause for interest, but things are looking up!)

My best mate got married, (The Sucker!) and I have enrolled my son to start Primary School (Elementary) next year. That is about all the excitement going on here.

So how is everyone?

I'm doing alright. Up and down as of late--had an absolutely terrible stretch a couple weeks ago (car got towed, had to borrow the money to get it out, got double-charged for rent, etc). But for the most part, things are pretty good. Got promoted at work (again), got asked out by the chick I've been crushing on for a while, have formed an actual social circle outside of work.

Things are good.

Now I just need some basketball in my life...

Everything's good, here. I've tried to use this Godforsaken offseason to better myself. Expanding my business, shrinking my waistline, etc., etc.

Still, if I don't get some NBA by November, I'll go all twitchy and fall off the wagon...again.

School... school... school...
6 finals in 3 days.

TMU, that sucks. I haven't been in school since 1996. So I can't even imagine what it is like.

Nothing wrong with losing weight Ribalding. I am trying to put some on, but this damn metabolism of mine is making that difficult. It looks like all 3 teams I am on for Basketball, are heading to the finals. So I got some serious Balling to do over the next few weeks.

In all seriousness--you two are a cute couple. You remind me of someone, but I can't place it right off. I'll try to think of it later when it's not 5:15 and I didn't just get woken up by a giant thunderstorm.

Also I don't remember if I left my car windows cracked or not. But I'm too lazy to go out and check. Oh well.

Anyways, if we can get more people to post themselves in here, I will too. Would be interesting to match names and faces.

The NBA's new slogan should be, "NBA, where Lockout's happen".

I guess I should have time to devise a new Signature for this season, (if it ever happens.) Can I start the "Trade for Andrew Bogut!" tirade yet?

Oh, and can I climb on the the "Re-Sign" Chuck....... Wagon?

I have a penpal in Melbourne. She says really nice things about the place, as well as the country as a whole. Sadly, she has no idea who Bogut is.....

what do you mean "climb on" the chuck wagon? every rockets fan should be on that band wagon. one of the rarest players in the league. arguably the most important player on the team. gets better every year.

unfortuneatly we might not be a good enough team for hayes to wanna come back. if we get a decent 6'10+ shot blocker then he should think about resigning . andris beirdrins would work, but i dont wanna take a chance on that guy's health.

But how many teams would value him as much as us? Maybe he'll take into account that we gave him his chance and not factor in the $$ too much.
