Pacers looking into Rajon

Post#1 » by zapatasblood » Thu Dec 1, 2011 5:24 am

The Pacers have emerged as a suitor for Rajon Rondo, according to sources.

Officials from the Pacers have been making calls to gather insight into Rondo's reputation over the past few days.

While Indiana and the Celtics have talked about the preliminary framework of a deal, two sources say a third team would be needed to consummate the deal.

Boston is likely attempting to acquire enough pieces to eventually land Chris Paul.

So they may need a third team and maybe the Rockets could get in on that. Doubt they will trade Roy Hibbert but would be good to see and still want to see Granger in a Rocket jersey. Also unload a 2009 reject or two.

I don't think there is a plausible trade scenario where we end up with hibbert or granger and pacers end up with rondo.

I do agree but the Pacers did draft Paul George last year and all I heard is that he is a copy of Granger. Used the 10th pick in the lotto to get him then you are going to want to be starting him. But the bigger long shot is Paul to Boston which as it would seem kill any deal. Just a dream and something to think about
