WT: miami supposed favorite for battier

Post#1 » by jwise44 » Mon Dec 5, 2011 2:19 am

would anyone else be pissed if this happened? i really would like to see lebron go ringless(I'm bitter because i don't like super teams and i truly think lebron is a douche), but i really want battier to get a ring

he could fit in well there though...lebron or wade drives and kicks to battier for his corner 3

I hate to say it, but yes.

I used to look forward to watching Houston Vs Cleveland games, because it usually meant Battier making LeBron's night really tough. But Battier is a player that DESERVES a ring. If Mac and Yao had been healthy, things might have been different in Houston for him.

I'd love to see him back in a Rockets uniform, but if not, good luck to him wherever he goes.

(Secretly, I think LeBron just wants him in Miami so that he isn't on some other team, making him shoot fading Jumpers 20 feet out!)

He was sure going nuts for us right before we traded him... but he is (without looking it up) 34 now (or at some point next season).. He's almost certain to have lost some laterals, and unlike Bowen, doesn't do much cheap crap to compensate for his age.

No not really. Still a fan and not a fan of the Heat but him going to that team really does not piss me off. It is not the Jazz, Mavs., Lakers or Spurs. **** would hate him more if he went to the Knicks. Battier is old not able to do the things he did in years past which was clear. He is more likely to be a benchwarmer/player coach then a role player in Miami.

i hope he signs with them and wins a ring...not at our expense of course...but unless we make some trades this season...i dont think i will have to worry about that.
