not knee jerk....sam's expiring contract might be enticing enough for the cavs and verajao has a 3 yr/27mil deal which isn't that bad....cavs might be looking to save money.....verajao is a good low post defender and rebounder too...i don't see any good big that we can possibly get now or in the next several years....not sure if any big men are gonna become a free agent with exception of D12.

I think sideshow bob would be a perfect BACKUP 5. Patty and him would be a solid backup 4 & 5

I don't think op was saying trade dally for him? But I wouldn't mind if we traded Kmart and thabeet for him and an unprotected first....

They 99.999999% wouldn't make the trade, but who knows...they scammed clips that bad last year?

this year is about giving our young players playing time to develop
i know losing is hard to watch but that's a growing process everyone need to go through
if trade don't really improve us much (that mean no superstar no trade)
i say we keep the team now and let them play

everyone has their eyes on Dwight Howard and Deron Williams
they only like to play with a superstar
it's either we get both or none
assume we don't make any trade
we only have enough cap space for one
best case we convince one of them to join and get the other one to follow via sign-and-trade

if not
i would like to look at McGee and Robin Lopez (i know both are restricted)
Lopez is a hustle guy like Varejao
i don't think he will get 10 millions a year
he will get something close to MLE like Gortat few years ago
Phoenix may not want to pay backup center that much money
McGee is a shotblocker with small brain (we will have to overpaid him)
i don't think anyone want to stay in Washington
he can ask them not to match the offer

Eric Gordon is restricted as well
may not want to stay in New Orleans

Idk I think Robin Lopez is a lil overrated.

McGee would be ok.

Eric gordon would be good but I do not want him cause he is always injured. No more injury prone players please.

Drummonds wont come til '13 :( who do we want in the draft?

Varejao is not even that good. I dont think he's better than a fit Dalembert at all. THis is a case of grass being greener on the other side.
