only if we find someone else to play center. patterson should never be a primary backup for center. hill is the better option at backup center. dont tell me about 6'7 adrien taking that role

I know some of you guys for whatever reason have this love affair with Robin Lopez, but trading T-Will or Hill for Lopez, to me, would be a lateral move at best.

Lateral moves do nothing but help the mediocre teams stay mediocre, so I, for one, would pass.

Throw Hill and T-Will in some kind of bigger trade or trade them for as high a second rounder as you can get.
Lopez just isn't any good, so I don't see the point in trading for him, center or not.

McHale just said today that he really wants to get Pat going and that he'd rather play one guy 20 minutes than two guys 10.

in case you didn't know
Hill and TWill suck
Lopez is not good but he's actual center
i don't want Patterson keep playing backup center
that will wear him down

patterson CANNOT be a primary backup center. he's too small and too inexperienced. i dont mind hill playing backup center till we find a better one.

i forgot i said this. on 2nd thought hell no would i trade for kirk. we only need 2 pgs with million dollar contracts. we need to try to make significant moves by trading our "assets". kirk hinrich, at the end of his career, would be a waste of a trade.

Hell no. Not when we lack depth in the Center position.

If this was January of 07 and McGrady and Yao were still Rockets and it meant I didn't have to endure two more years of Rafer Alston, hell yes I'd say give us Hinrich. As it stands he doesn't address an actual need.

We need a Center, not a PG.
