Al Jefferson/Harris for Martin/Lowry

Jazz fan here:

Jefferson/Harris/ 2nd Rounder

for

Martin/Lowry/NY Pick

Al Jefferson put in some serious work this off-season and it is paying off. He is a 20/10 Center anchor and is only 26 heading into his prime. Harris needs to be on a faster pace team, he just doesn't fit in our plodding team. So Al is a future all star (perhaps this year if there are injury replacements), and Harris is a former all star.

Thoughts.

You found yourself in an inside-joke where he's the bad cop and I'm the good cop.

....and you just wrote yourself in as the "by the book" police chief!

No. Why would we give up the NY pick when we're giving up more than you guys are. Earl Watson has been outplaying harris so all he is for us is filler and he probably wouldn't start over dragic. So basically we are trading you a possible lottery pick, A pg who is on the brink of becoming and all-star, and a great shooter for Al Jefferson. No......

its not a horrible offer considering the knicks pick looks like its going to be a high pick. Because of Jeremy lin. Lowry is a better value player. But having a Center who could give you 20/10 is not easy to find.

I have mixed feelings about Kmart. If we can't get someone who equals his scoring ability...... then we might as well not trade him. Kmart would be a great supplement for a championship team though...

Having a reliable PG is important as having a Center who averages 20/10. Especially in this era.

I'm glad you all laughed at the trade proposal. Shows that your fanbase knows something about basketball.

Jazz Trade Proposal

I am more interested in seeing what you would be willing to do with us around these set perameters.

We are willing to trade either: Jefferson or Millsap
We are willing to include: Harris, CJ Miles, Bell, Evans, and Josh Howard or any combination.
We are not willing to part with any of our recent lottery picks or the GSW pick.

We are most interested in: Kyle Lowry or Kyle Lowry. Perhaps Martin but the only scenario we would want Martin is to part with Harris.
We would also be interested in the NY pick this year or your pick top 10 protected.
We don't want Scola.

Propose away.

My proposal would be: Millsap and Harris, for Dalembert and Lowry and NY Pick, or Jefferson, Harris for Lowry, Dalembert, Thabeet, NY Pick.

What would you guys do.

Interesting to get mocked... The current value of Harris is down, but this year would mark the first year that Harris' value would be below Lowry's league wide. Second, your coach loves Al Jefferson and as a great post player himself he would find ways to make Al even more dominant than he currently is in a balanced Utah system.

If Martin is so highly valued by you guys why are his minutes going down over the last few weeks/ He is an efficient scorer to be sure, but he gives so much up defensively your coach has figured out that you are better without him on the floor. Putting him in the trade is a smart business move as you don't want his salary on the books along with Jeffersons.

Last thing: Harris' value is at an all time low because we have a rookie coach who does not know how to use Harris. Harris is good in transition and the high pick and roll.... we are trying to make him a jump shooter in Corbins offense and his problems will dissapear in Houston where you run the pick and roll better.

Jefferson>Martin by a fair margin
Harris<Lowry by a smaller margin

We can debate the need to include the pick, but it is not an unfair trade.
