I thought Chase did have the best overall performance, as underwhelming as this contest was, but Evans did have the best overall dunk.

Too bad for Chase, but I would like to see the Dunk Contest go away for a while.

i dont care if he got robbed, i didnt even pay attention to everything i was so bored. why did they choose chase and parsons? there's at least a million better shooters in the nba, and a million better dunkers. making up for that vetoed trade? or just lazy as hell cuz the saturday events are soooooooooo boring my god i even fell asleep for a bit, even tho i drank a can of energy drink

he should've got a cardboard of a buncha tall 7 footers like he did in that video earlier this week...yao, hakeem, dekembe, and maybe get the real hasheem and jump over all of them. that would be impressive. dunking over a terrible greedy rapper, then that boring windmill, ugh think outside the box please. the blindfold 180 was nice, good job chase. now work your way back into the rotation so we can have some more scoring off the bench.

Chase should focus on his overall game. Do more in game dunks. But props to chase, that blindfolded dunk from his back was sensational. Even though he was assisted by Kenny.

I agree, There's more better dunkers out there. These nobodies kind of cheapens the dunk contest. I didn't even know who jeremy evans was until tonight. No one wants to be in the dunk contest no more? where is the love?

The contest was 25x better if you imagined Evans wearing nerd glasses, suspenders, and talking through his nose about low level math equations like a 6'9" Super Urkel. Gordon Hayward only sweetened the deal when he dropped all the church of mormon pamphlets on his unsuspecting audience. I must have shouted at least 20 things like "gosh you guys, check out this nifty whizbang move I found on the internet yesterday!"

Williams totally blew, yeah.

As for the ceremony... more ceremony = more run time. More run time = more ad time. More ad time = $$$. Simple equation. So what if it makes everything boring as crap? Morons like us will still watch it for some reason.

PDiddy ignoring the whole thing to tweet on his phone spoke volumes. Btw, the producer should be fired. What was he thinking dedicating 50 seconds of airtime to showing people actively ignoring their "spectacular event"?
