i know some of you are hardcore with stats, know more basketball than i do. so plz explain to me, what is so great about having scola and patterson at the 4/5 at the end of the game? i know patterson has quick lateral movement for a big, but he's also undersized for a center and not much of a shot blocker. scola is capable of playing average defense, but only if he/his team isnt in a slump (i know alex i be thinks otherwise but vs clippers he defended griffin really well).
dalembert was having a BEASTING GAME, could've gone for a double double with blocks if he got 30min, but for w/e reason mcfail decided to sit him for the last 5+ minutes in place for PATTERSON? that **** asswipe is too scared to hit an open shot.
what am i not seeing here? was it a tank job? is there some kind of "5man group stat" that patterson excells in? WHY DIDNT DALEMBERT FINISH THE GAME LAST NIGHT???

And why can't we see more Camby/Dalembert back courts? Especially when teams are killing us in the paint.... which is just about every game.
And while we're on the subject, when the Rockets go on their inevitable 5 minute (at least) 3rd quarter FG drought, why won't McHale call a timeout and threaten to sodomize the next person to shoot a jump shot instead taking the ball to the rack like a normal human being? Simple fix, yet it happens almost every game and nothing seems to be getting done about it. When I see it happening it almost makes me want the Rockets to lose. I just feel like they're too stupid to deserve a win.

Simple: McFail is a dumb coach. That was (Please Use More Appropriate Word) benching Dalembert when he was just having a block party. Scola at C??? Joke!!!
In my opinion, Blake Griffin is overated as a player. Im not saying he sucks, cause the guy has a lot of potential. But if you keep him grounded, you have a good shot of shutting him down. And Scola did a decent job those games.
Also, I notice alot of Blake Griffin's "posterizing" dunks, he pushes the defender down. Im no expert, but isn't that considered an offensive foul?? Horrible officiating.
One last thing, as unpopular this might sound, we need Kevin Martin out there. At times, our offense looks lost to go along with McFail's horrible coaching.

the only thing i can think of is patterson is more offensive minded while sammy provides better d. sammy's offense is limited but hes more effective on the glass rebounding and putting back shots.

I was gonna make a thread on this exact topic but, didn't want to be that crazy dude talking about Rocket conspiracies... thank god someone else saw this.
This happened in all the loses, and the reason everyone was excited for Camby was to have a shot-blocking 5 on the floor at tall times. During the games Camby was healthy Dalembert barely got minutes.
George Karl mentioned something about it, like it was a game changer for Denver when we went small...
This is a TANK JOB!!!!
That or Mchale is this stupid:
