Everyone is talking about these potential Rockets moves, but what other teams do you think could possibly drastically overhaul the roster they had at the end of this season?

I'm thinking that Boston and Portland are going to look pretty different. I can see lots of moving pieces from those teams.

I guess New Orleans is a lock to look different!

Melo is halarious to me. I love seeing all these players that don't want to come here fail after going to the "big market" and I hope the same happens to D-12. He didn't have to leave denver like lebron had to leave cleveland. They have money, young players and a good staff from the gm all the way down to the coach. Have fun being the fourth seed AT BEST in NY mello...

you can pick which team you want to play for
it's perfectly fine
but don't expect to get paid the max when you pick your team
my friends moved to san jose because they like it there
lebron/melo/dwight/deron can all do the same
just sign there but not for the max

The Lakers are interested in moving to the top of the draft by shopping Pau Gasol.

The target for Los Angeles is Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.

Kidd-Gilchrist will almost certainly be a top-five selection.

The Lakers are very receptive to discussing trades centered around Pau Gasol, according to two sources.

Nothing appears imminent at this point, however.

Gasol was in the Lakers' proposed to trade to acquire Chris Paul before the start of the 11-12 season.

Sources told ESPN that the Lakers have been in contact with teams to acquire a top-10 pick. Gasol could be dealt to acquire an established player and one such pick.

Amare is Next to Work With Hakeem

Amar’e Stoudemire will work out with Hakeem Olajuwon later this summer in hopes of improving his low-post game.

Olajuwon, who has tutored Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard, and LeBron James, will fly to New York to train with Stoudemire.

Mike Woodson has encouraged Stoudemire to become more of a low-post scoring threat.

Why wait until your 11th year in the league to do this? Why is this not the first thing ANY player does when they come in the league. Big man, swingman, guard... it doesn't matter. I would imagine this would be one of the 1st things I task out to my agent. Get me in the gym with Hakeem as much as possible. If it were possible, I would work with him every summer (all summer if I'm a big). It would be part of my regular work out routine. Maybe he has extremely bad breath that one can only stand in small doses...

I doubt Hakeem will work with any rookies unless they are Davis-like potential. Doesnt want to waste his time on a potential bust.

I have a feeling what you just said is pure speculation.

Seriously though, even if not as a rookie, why wait until now to work with Hakeem?

Though he could use a lesson in both, I believe he's seeking a back to the basket game.
