all this roster needs is omer asik and we're gonna be a contender for years to come. I mean who wouldn't pay 15 mil a year for a player of his caliber in his final season.............. good idea by the way

wouldn't doubt it, everyone on this board should be happy anyways all 99% of the people on this board want is a "diamond in the rough type player" who isn't "overpaid". No one wants gordon, josh smith, hibbert, bynum, but we consistently talk about pekovic, gortat, etc. For the record I'm not saying I want all those players either, I just find it funny...

the plan is for him to be a superstar and instead of surrounding him with a bunch of good role players alongside another all star, you surround him with 8-10 power forwards

Royce white is not a sf. I have never seen a 260 pound sf that hits 50% from ft line and has no range.

He is a pf with handle. We only have cp as sf now. But i guess lee could move over to sf if we have no choice.

Right now the depth chart is this

Lowry/livingston/fortson
Martin/lamb
Parsons
Scola/dmo/patterson/leuer/morris/brockman/white
Smith

Dmo might be able to play some center. Morris might be able to play some sf but wow is our pf jam ridiculous.

Because he is a poor FT shooter , he is not a SF?

I would have to respectfully disagree. Due to the fact that he can handle the ball, that out weighs the fact that he can not hit free throws.

Y! has him listed as a 6'8'' 255 lb SF.
Lebron is a 6'8'' 250 SF
http://sports.yahoo.com/video/player/nba/NBA_Draft/29807470#nba/NBA_Draft/29807470
Not that I think Royce White is or ever will be the same caliber or player as LBJ, I think he is a versatile forward and due to the fact that we 7 PF's , he fits better on our roster as a SF.

royce white is a pf
don't compare him to lebron because they are about the same size
he's more like antoine walker

Doesnt matter how many pf we have. He cant play 3. Name one sf in the league right now that shoots under 50% from ft line. Name one sf in the nba without atleast a consistent 17 footer.

The state of the nba is that if u cant shoot u cant play in the perimeter. I havent even touched on his defense which imo is an even more important element to consider. Can white chase the athletic sf in the
League at 260 when he has always been an inside player. Personally i have serious doubt.

Thats the only reason wwhy morris didnt get playing time last year. The transition from college 4 to nba 3 is so so difficult.

White can pair up with either Jones or Parsons, they can guard 3s

that if they are still with the team
look like morey master plan is trade everything for dwight howard and eric gordon

heck we can even put white on the opposing teams offensively inept center, with dmo parsons/jones white on the floor

So White can make plays, but he'll have to learn how to limit his TOs. It also looks like he needs to improve his shooting if the plan his to have him around the perimeter and stretch the floor. I see him at the 4 with the ability to play in the high post, and if his shooting improves he can be like Diaw. As of now, it's hard to see him play the 3.

Morey is up to something. If you believe the "sources" and given the amount of write ups about it. I think the front office is being very agressive. Free Agency is a 3d game of chess. pieces are constantly moving. Just sit tight, the roster will be sorted out. notice we have a lot of young players. the problem is, a lot of them are as yet un-proven. and the ones that are, are the ones we want to keep. Morey has had a hard on for Asik, and McHale obviously sees something in him as well.

I'd like to say I am keeping the faith. I think we will go after Tyreke Evans aggresively. Lowry will be gone, as well as Scola.

Just get rid of effin Martin.

i don't think white is a true sf, but i think he can play there...i also think jones can
