Acquiring a true center and ridding yourself of a ball hog in Martin and an old PF to make room for your young PFs. Backup PG can be addressed in free agency.

As opposed to....

PG - Lowry/Dragic
SG - Martin/Lamb
SF - Parsons/White
PF - Patterson/Morris/Jones
C - Scola

you're calling pau gasol a true center
there are easy way to make room for younger PF
just amnesty scola instead of eating gasol big contract and count toward the cap space
we are eyeing camby+asik at center

I figure with Kobe on the Lakers you would know what a ball hog is because Martin is a far cry from that

This doesn not help Houston. Need to go back to the drawing board.

Before you do, tho, I have one major question in regards to your reasoning: on what Earth is Kevin Martin considered a "ball hog?"

Even Martin's biggest critics (most post here on RealGM ;) ) will acknowledge that Martin's strength is that he does not require the ball in his hands to be efficient. Martin is not the team's primary ball-handler. More often than not even Luis Scola controls the ball more than Martin.

If you consider Kevin Martin to be a "ball hog" to the point that it is one of your major reasons why Houston should consider this then forget going back to the drawing board...go back to drafting class!

Lmao @ martin being a ball hog, theres a lot of things you could call k-mart but "ball hog" isn't one of them....

Still baffled by the ball hog statement
