Olajuwon reaches out to OKC, wants to work with Ibaka

Post#1 » by texasholdem » Wed Jul 11, 2012 3:57 am

Kobe, Lebron, Dwight, now Ibaka. Why is Hakeem working with all these players from other teams? Now he's even approaching them instead of the other way around. Maybe he's mad at the franchise for making Ewing an assistant coach? for trading him to Toronto?

I guess he just loves the game in general. The real question is, why is no one on our roster seeking him out?

But thinking about Iblocka with a post up game is scary.

Records are made to be broken. He wants to see someone have a shot at his.

In today's game, I think it is un-atainable.

Like Wilts 100, Olajuwon's record will take forever to be broken.

Shot Blocking is becoming a dying art. there is no glamour, or sponsorship deals if you are a lockdown defender.

Anthony Davis is probably gonna have a good shot at it.
but then again Thabeet was a great college shot blocker too.

very hard to be broken in today's NBA game since many players shoot jumpers especially big men...instead of going to the rim.

So now Kenneth Faried, Javale McGee and Stoudemire are gonna go to DreamCamp in Katy, Texas?
And he wants to work with Tyson Chandler too? This is getting ridiculous. If he wants to be a coach just make him one officially Les, no matter the asking price.

Olajuwon representatives said Tuesday that Faried, Nuggets center JaVale McGee and New York forward Amar'e Stoudemire will all start workouts with Olajuwon at his ranch in Katy, Texas next Monday. Faried might just work out for one week while McGee and Stoudemire could work out for multiple weeks. All of that is not completely determined. Olajuwon, a Hall of Fame center who has worked successfully with the likes of Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Dwight Howard, also is expected to bring in some other players in late August after the Olympics end. One Olajuwon has said he expects to work with at that time is Knicks forward Tyson Chandler, currently playing for Team USA

i believe if Olajuwon calls you, it is free, but if you call him, you have to pay. Btw, they showed on Fox 26 news of Olajuwon working out with Stoudemire and Javale McGee was also there too.
