Should we keep Lee if we trade Martin?

I forgot that Courtney Lee is still a restricted free agent, I actually almost forgot about him entirely lol.
That being said, he could still be an asset in a sign-and-trade or could still be valuable as player in Houston. If the Rockets make one of these Martin + Toronto pick + White + Patterson type deals we'll be a little thin in the back court. Courtney Lee would be a perfect fit sharing minutes with Lamb at SG and could be also used as an emergency backup point guard if Machado or Livingston get hurt.
Regardless, I hope we get some value out of him in the form of either a first round pick or perhaps re-signing him to a longer term contract. He is still relatively young and can be valuable to this team for now and for the future.

If we land Howard id say we'd have to bring back Lee. Not just because he and D12 are boyz but he's a damn good two way sg overall. There's not may of them left in the league.
And in a Howard trade scenario Im pretty sure lamb would be going to Orlando.

Lee is ok, but not great, and he's 27. Easily replaceable. I wish we'd gotten something for him, but can't win them all, and maybe it'll happen yet, so...

Yeah, last I checked he was an UFA.... Either way, I hope BOS wants him enough to trade their 1st Rounder or Avery Bradley (not gon happen, I know) for him.

If all Lee is going to get is the 3.3 MLE then why the hell wouldn't we bring him back?

for the sake of all things good he has to leave this team. we tried to flop our way into the playoffs with lowry, scola and martin. that didnt work

, so we gotta get rid of them and martin is the last one left

Minny just lost out on Batum and was willing to pay 45 million over 4 years for his services.
They need wings and were willing to give a bevy of picks for a sign and trade.
Adelman ought to want Martin. He's the Wolves perfect 2 guard.
If we take 80% of whatever they were offering Portland for Batum on a trade, it would still be a good deal for both sides. Hell, we'll even take Wesley Johnson and parlay him into an expiring next year if he doesn't figure out how to handle the ball still. He's actually not a bad defensive wing.
If he doesn't work out, he's an expiring contract that we can milk in Feb.
