well i guess morey was sick of getting so many power forwards, so he switched it up by signing a small forward. way to think outside the box daryl

we keep the argentinan flopping blood strong by replacing our best flopper with delfino

carlos gonna mentor parsons into being a flopping defender, instead of an actual defender

i dunno why we got him but its always nice to have another forward or two or twenty

This signing makes no sense to me

So now he backs up parsons and Morris is 3rd string sf? Guess he hasn't given the coaches any reason to believe in him. and I guess white will be d-leagued?

I would rather white and Morris backup parsons and make sure this tank is in full effect

We only had one sf on the team. Parsons.

We had a total of 3 wings prior to delfino so thats that.

Forbes from Toronto (guaranteed contract?)
Morris (at least they told us he was a SF when they drafted him)
T Jones is sorta a 3?

i know we all see everything differente, in my opinion
small forwards in the rockets roster forbes, terrence jones, marcus morris, chandler parsons ,royce white dont know anything about jajuan johnson 3 or 4 ?and now delfino in nba. com hes listed as a 2-3 but still not a good signing not enough minutes for this kind of players ..morey once again doing a bad job

I like the signing. Delfino is a good vet to have and a threat from 3, which we kinda lacked.

He may take away some minutes away from the young guys, but it's important to have some veterans on the team. If you can't beat out Carlos Delfino for minutes, you're probably not too good anyway.
If you're handing minutes young guys minutes without competition, odds are your rookies aren't gonna develop any faster/better. In fact, the opposite is probably true.
You need older guys the young guys can look up to and learn from, even if it's just some role player.

Delfino is a really nice player... one of those guys how can do everything, rebound, defend, shoot.

Also I know he has played some spot minutes at pf in this league... when know how McFail likes to go small.

what? 6'6" Delfino at PF?
isn't this lineup small enough?
PG - Boykins 5'5"
SG - Lin 6'3"
SF - Lamb 6'5"
PF - Parsons 6'9"
C - White 6'8"

I thought it was pretty simple. Now that there is no Howard trade, you guys need some 1-year contracts to meet the salary min without sacrificing cap space next season to give up no asset and sign Bynum/Iguodala to Linsanity City for free.

Maybe your rookies and 2nd year players work out and you won't need him, but Delfino is a solid veteran who can defend very well and isn't a big offensive liability. Althogh I doubt that Delfino will be too happy to be on the same team as Livingston again. He almost killed himself because coach had him religiously babysitting Ellis and Livingston on defense, which made him look really bad on unadjusted defensive +/- against amongst other stats. It probably contributed greatly to him not getting decent money this offseason.

I think delfino is just about as good as courtney lee. For the min he is a great signing.

A little bigger, not as athletic, worse shot selection, not as good mig range.
