Trade idea Eric Bledsoe

Post#1 » by GrapeApe » Tue Oct 9, 2012 1:49 pm

How about trading one of the many power forwards for Eric Bledsoe? Bledsoe is lost on the Clippers roster but has shown he can play when given time. My choice would be to send Morris but it would probably take Patterson to get the job down.

Thoughts?

you think we would trade the guy slotted to be our starting 4 for a backup 1? Morris could be traded, but Patterson has way more value than Bledsoe. I would like to see Bledsoe on this team as I think he could play alongside Lin and Lamb coming off the bench, but Patterson won't be traded for him.

LAC is trying to win
they will not want one of those young PF that can't help them win now
they are better off with Bledsoe than unproven Morris
they got
C - Jordan/Turiaf
PF - Griffin/Odom
SF - Butler/Barnes
SG - Billups/Crawford
PG - Paul/Bledsoe
that's pretty stacked already
they are probably interesting in Asik but not for that kind of salary

Throw in Grant Hill and Willie Green in there too. Yeah they are stacked.

they may be stacked but they cant get far. trading bledsoe for morris would be a step back. turiaf and odom are solid backup bigs

only lakers and thunder in their way
their only weakness is center
i think they rather keep bledsoe for his defense at guard than getting young pf
don't be surprise to see them play odom at center

At this point in time Bledsoe definitely has more value than Patterson. I actually really like Patterson but Bledsoe is a monster defensively and has improved at a steady pace offensively.

I think the only player the Clippers would be looking to attain from the Rockets would be one of their shooting guards. That would allow Billups to slide back as a point guard. Although that's not happening either.

if we hadn't signed Lin, i would've been happy to trade for Bledsoe, but we don't need him now. I am high on this kid. Gonna be very good.

Lol at this trade idea, as if the Clippers want to trade their best backup PG for another PF they dont really need. When you think of trade ideas you have to consider what is in it for the other team you know.
