VERY well deserved. One of the best on the board, and long overdue.

Bow at his feet.

I like my welcome thread better than yours, but I guess I'll delete mines. :)

I hate to overshadow the James Harden news, but we can't predict when there will be breaking news. Sorry James...the beard must take a backseat. Mr. E is now added to the moderating team! Hide ya kids...hide ya wives!

Would neeed to see a pic of Mr.E before i pick a side.

I mean Harden has one mean *********ing beard.

Congrats Mr. E. One of my favorite poster and probably one of the few Rocket fans on realgm who has never posted drunk. Always seem to be level headed. Good choice for mod.

Congratulations, or comiserations, depending on your perspective. (Now you have to post nice, and reprimand the rest of us well, reprobates I guess is as good a description of the rest of us as any.)

Oh yeah, something about Harden or some such. This news completely overshadows it. I better see a report on ESPN, Headline: "Mr.E signs on as new moderator on Realgm Rockets board. Quality of posts now on the decline. Mr.E quoted as saying "well if you can't beat them, join them!" says a source close to the board.

Also, it is my son's Birthday on the 31st. Everyone says to me, "Your son was born on Halloween?" I always reply, "Nope, opening night in the NBA!!!"

Thank you for the kind words, everyone. And thank you, "Bad Cop" for the curvaceous reply. I greatly encourage such behavior. ;)

I want everyone to know that I'm going to do everything I can to make this place as enjoyable of an experience for everyone as it has always been for me. We all love talking some Rockets hoops here, and with the addition of James Harden and that guy from New York I expect our forum activity to pick up a bit.

I'm not exactly sure why there are so many people obsessed with that guy from New York, but you all have my word that I will keep the rabid, Tony Douglas-Only-Fans in line. Consider this your warning, TDOF's.

I do want to address a few things in regards to my becoming a moderator. I know that over the years we all have our in-jokes and are really comfortable posting together so some of you may be worried that my new status may change how I act. That it may cause me to let the power go to my head and act differently.

I want to assure all of you: this will absolutely happen. No Question. The biggest reason that I took this gig was so that I could let the power go to my head and corrupt me. I'm not even going to waste your time with the whole "Hey - I'm a benevolent ruler act." No - we are starting right out of the gate with "Angry, Vengeful God," so your best course of action from here on out is to fear my terrible anger. Remember: To Fear is to Love.

Now - I bid you all go forth and speak the Gospel of the Rockets. If you need me I'll be over on Craig's List buying some Togas, Laurel Crowns and placing ads for some Mediterranean chicks to feed me grapes and pomegranate seeds as I look down upon a world which fears me.

Go Rockets!

Hello ladies. Look at your posts. Now back to mine. Now back at your posts now back to MINE. Sadly, they aren't mine. But if your posts started using Optimismâ„¢, they could sound like mine. This post is now diamonds.
