How much longer will Mchale keep the rookies on the bench?

Yeah its only been 6 games but we got 4 rookies. We're a rebuilding on the fly team, it can't be that big of a deal to play 1 or 2 rookies in short spurts. Our rookies last year were morris and parsons, both got minutes within the first two games.

So what do you guys think?

Realistically, the end of November- although I'd like to see some of them ASAP. Jones and Motiejunas are probably first in line.

As I've posted before, I get the reasoning for not playing DMo, or White, at least to start the season. But I can't find any reason for why McHale isn't playing Jones. I thought he'd be challenging for the starting spot because Morris wasn't expected to be in the rotation and Patterson isn't good at all. But he hasn't played at all.. :-?

Half of this roster is stacked with PFs, yet McHale can't find a decent one. And Toney Douglas needs to be waived.

Mchale has to play the rookies soon. Harden, Lin, and other starters won't last till the end of the season if they are playing almost 40+ minutes every game.

Mchale should let the rooks play, We aren't going to win many games with the current group anyways. Might as well develop the youngsters.

Let T jones play. He showed in preseason that he was a better fit downlow than M Morris, or Patterson. Let him get experience. Also DMO. Not Aldrich who's reached his ceiling. already.

well i was very lazy when i made that thread, i didnt even say anything

we got 3 pgs, douglas having a hard time backing up. just give machado a chance. is he gonna be twice as bad until he learns all the plays? now we got slumping harden playing backup pg

patterson struggling as a starting pf. challenge him by giving minutes to jones and motie

We're saving White to dominate LeBron next game.

However inconsistent Patterson and Chandler's play right now, what I saw from TJones and Motie's garbage time minutes were not encouraging. I'm glad they got a bit of burn, and that both of them managed to bust their point cherry. Both TJones attempts came from the 3. I guess one made it, but he's not really looking to bang. Motie at least had the go-get-it gusto, but I'm not sure how we are going to use a 7 foot small forward with no handles.

yeah they both stunk it up in garbage time, but as you well know, it takes time bla bla bla

btw, i had no idea the pistons are that bad. rockets might not get garbage time minutes for awhile.

We might get it the other way in the next game.
