No one has shot more bricks from the charity strike than this guy here. He should turn side on, and shoot baby hooks, he'll probably up his FT% by half if he does that, (keep that suggestion on the down low!) Asik will have a physical match up here.


Let's not sugarcoat it. Gasol has sucked of late, which has forced speculation that he will be traded. Pau is one of the greatest PF's in league history. He'll come good, I just hope it's not against us!!!


Unfortunately, the decline of Gasol, has meant that Peace has improved. He is being exactly what LA need, and that's solid. Sucks for us, because he is still a great defender, and still a headcase, which we might be able to turn against him. LA can switch Kobe of Harden, and have him guard Parsons or vice versa. I think this will be ultimately where the game is won or lost. At the SG and SF position.


What can you say about Kobe, AKA Black Mamba? He is a superstar player. Can we contain him this game? He always seems to go off against us. It sucks, being a Rockets fan when he does, but as a fan of the game, he is still awesome to watch. As much as I/we hate Utah and Dallas, I can't hate LA. Do I want us to beat them, hell yes. But I can't hate on Kobe for being the freak that he is.


Obviously, Nash is still injured, and will be their highest paid cheerleader, (if he travels) at the game. I would speculate that.....

This guy, Jodie Meeks, (who is a really solid player, coming off a fantastic shooting display) will probably start in Nash's place because......

Steve Blake is injured also.

Can Omer stay out of foul trouble? Can he steer clear of errant elbows, (his face seems to be an Elbow/forearm magnet at the moment!!!) We're loving what Omer is bringing every game. It's exactly what Darryl Morey promised it would be!


Patty Pat, Patx2 whatever the hell you want to call him, has been playing pretty well lately. His midrange game is coming back, great shooting against Utah, (We don't cringe as much when he takes the corner three.) What else can I say about him??


Is Chandler BANG's shoulder better? Can he keep making people say "Who the hell is this guy? Why didn't we draft him?" Can Parsons contain Kobe? (I hope he becomes the next Shane Battier, but with a higher ceiling offensively!) I am ordering a Parsons Jersey shortly. He has replaced Mandry, and Chuckwagon as my favourite Rocket. If Morey trades him, I am taking out a contract on his life!!!!!!!


Fear the Beard!!!!! Hopefully, Harden will, well, harden up and torch LA this time. Solid game against Utah, time to snuff LA's lights out.


Did we see a glimpse of Linsanity returning against Utah. He played very well down the stretch against Utah. Lin and Harden might well be the best, and youngest back court in the NBA! But this is just the opinion of a one eyed Rockets fan. I hope Lin just keeps being more solid. I never expected, nor wanted "Linsanity" in Houston. Just a Solid as Hell PG, with a High Assist/low turnover ratio, shooting 15-20 ppg. He is a great rebounder at his position, and has fantastic court vision, that will only get better with experience, and greater understanding of passing angles.

Poor game against Utah, but anyone can have an off night. He has improved 2000% compared to last season.

I'm not hating on Toney. He's been ok the last 5 games. He can be a very valuable contributor. I must be honest, I don't have enough knowledge of his game to form a valid opinion, so I won't hate on him.... yet....

Smith has the potential to become a fan favourite. It's easy to see why. Unfortunately, he is fast becoming a "tradeable" asset. Which sucks if he is a favourite player of yours.

Good to see his groin has healed. Has Carlos been spending too much time with Harden, and the strippers in
Houston?

If foul trouble happens, we could well get our wish to see D-Mo play.

This game will be hard to predict because the Lakers are a mess.

Should we hack-a-Howard? It worked for the Magic. He's shooting < 50% from FT.

Hoping that Lin will return to his Laker-killing ways since his awakening after the Knicks game.

+2 to Pennywise since Jim has returned to the band, and I have tickets to their next concert.

lakers lost to the friggin magic at los angeles. after crushing denver. hack a dwight worked with him going 9-21 from the line.

we actually gotta chance to beat them. theyre on a b2b with noh in the 2nd game, easier to beat them so they best strategize their win loss correclty on this b2b.

pau is no where near on top of his game so patterson gotta bring it to pau by keeping htat 20pt streak going.

harden vs kobe is gonna be a fun shoot out, and asik v dwight. one day away tho

Nice thread and Aussie talent. I never thought I'd see a real die hard Houston fan overseas like that, but you're the real deal.

I hate Utah and Dallas too, but I have family in California so I don't hate L.A. (But I do talk trash in a friendly rivalry).

I hope its an entertaining game that ends with a Rocket win. Asik needs to redeem himself, we need good games from Lin and Harden with Parsons being himself. That plus bench consistency and we could pull it out.

Rockets big in this one if Parsons is healthier...i like that Delfino is back too...we missed some outside shooting against the Lakers last time w/o Delfino....not much defense going on, but it should be a shootout.

Do we employ the "Hackahoward" strategy against LA? It worked for Orlando. I really hope to see D-Mo getting some court time. Any word on when McHale is returning either?

Depends on Kelvin's style... though any coach trying to win would probably employ it.
