This same time last year we had the same exact record, after 35 games 21-14 good for 5th in the West.

IIRC thats when McHale started playing Patterson at the 5 in 4th quarters, like he did last game... went on 5 game losing streak.

I'd be kind of surprised if we won this, tbh. They match up well with their perimeter defenders, and KG's exceptional rotational ability. Sullinger is playing well, Terry always murders us, Bradley being back has sparked them to have won their last 4 games...against pretty good competition. And Pierce is still doing what he's done his entire career. The main thing is they're at home, where they are much better, presumably because they can control the pace and momentum better..

And Patterson has been closing at the 5 for the past couple games now. It didn't hurt us previously, because Patterson and Delfino were shooting lights out off the bench. It didn't sustain last game, and we blew a 10 point lead entering the 4th quarter. I don't understand it either, because I thought Asik was instrumental in getting us that lead in the first place with his play in the third quarter.

And oh, I might have to watch this game on mute if I get the Celtics commentators...

If Lin plays decently, Rox will get this game and I predict Patterson will be an important piece. My only real question mark is Sullinger, he's an unknown player (which is always a lucky guess for coaches) and he's playing at a very high level, even better than Garnett or Bass. At the same time, their perimeter is getting weaker each game, so the real game for Rox will be under the boards

Big game and I expect the Rockets to light up the Cs.

I don't understand why we take out our most powerful defensive asset and replace it by a sub par shooting pf (Patterson) when we clearly need defense and low post scoring in Smith and asik.

Let the bigs grab board and close out the middle instead of starting Patterson at center during the fourth quarter. I don't understand this at all they should have some common sense but i think secretly mchale has a unnatural man crush on patty pat..

Or else Asik would be our defensive closer...
