Houston is one team reported to have a keen eye on Indiana forward Danny Granger. The Pacers aren’t totally against keeping the 29-year-old forward, who has missed all of the season with a knee injury. But following the emergence of All-Star Paul George, they are taking and making exploratory calls. FOXSports Ohio

Trading for Granger wouldn't mean up giving up/replacing Parsons. It also doesn't have to result in constant small-ball lineups.

You play Granger at the 3. Parsons at 3 & 4 -- either as a starter or a 6th man type role.

Trading for Granger all depends on the price IMO.

Yes please.

Patterson + Motie + filler for Granger anyday.

If we keep and play Parsons at 3, this team would be really tough to guard. And its not like we'll lose any Rebounding by replacing Patterson.

We close alot of games with Parsons at the 4 so we know it works.

I say go for it! I think this is a buy low situation, Pacers don't **NEED** Granger with the way they are playing and his value is as low as it'll ever be with him coming off another injury. As long as it doesnt cost Parsons.

When i first looked at this my first thought was giving up our cap space this offseason with Granger being signed this season and next. But the more i thought about it, this years free agent crop is basically Howard, CP3, J-Smoove and everyone else. Morey doesn't see us getting CP3 or Howard and maybe doesn't want Smith. Granger makes us better for the next 2 seasons and makes us look more attractive to that 2014 Free agent class that looks more and more promising by the day.

All i know is, I still trust Morey

Agreed. Parsons is younger, much cheaper, has very good upside as well and without the long term injuries in his past so far.

Don't go for Granger? Go for Millsap and a scorer off the bench

Would they do Millsap for Patterson and Jones?
- Utah probably won't be able to afford him
-Houston needs a scoring PF

Then go for a scoring 6th man:
Would Charolotte do Henderson for Morris and a 2nd round pick?
-Charlotte doesn't want to pay him
-Houston needs scoring off the bench

5.Asik
4.Millsap
3.Parsons
2.Harden
1.Lin
6th man. Henderson
